NPB is probably gonna be mostly house sessions, GJ isn't a matter of not wanting to host there, it's a situation of the store is insanely packed on Saturdays, and I have a lot of real life stuff going on (some very good, some very bad) so it's hard for me to commit to a weekly schedule to mash offline like before.

Cheapest solution is definitely to get a new PCB and chuck it in there. PS360+ will work on PS4 with an 8 minute timeout, Akishop has claimed that they are working on a hardware solution to fix it. The Mortal Kombat X pad for PS3/PS4 is another option, but not suitable if you want to put another pcb in there as (so I'm told) if the pcb detects it's not receiving inputs after a certain timeout period it drops all the signals to low, I have not had a chance to test this myself. The Hori Fighting Commander 4 also comes out in the US at the end of the month, and is a really nice pcb to work with.

Who's gonna run SamSho 5SP

There are two key changes to that door, for starters it now has two clasps on the sides that hold it in place while closed. but it's easier to open still. Secondly the door no longer falls off the second you look at it. I haven't tried popping it off yet, but it hasn't fallen off yet under normal use.

I guess 3PM tomorrow

"Hey tigre, you wanna play" "Nah, i'm cool I'm playing NeoGeo" So I now have a second working PS4 stick. No 8 minute disconnects. So playing on PS4 will be much easier from here on out.

I can finally throw my two cents in about the Hayabusa, now that I own one, and I've put a bit of time in with a friends. It does feel fairly similar to the JLF, when I stopped trying to spot differences everything just sorta fell into place. Spring tension in my particular one feels about the same as a JLF, but the switches are definitely louder and offer a bit more resistance. The biggest thing to me is this stick is really loud to me. hitting the gate is much louder than hitting it on a Sanwa. Bottom line for me is- I don't dislike the stick. It feels comparable to a JLF. I don't think i'd go out of my way to replace it with a JLF, or a JLF with it. I'm curious how long the stick will last before I need to replace parts. <edit> I can also safely say that the HRAPV4 has not shown me any of the day one reports of lag. Good shit on Hori for fixing the stupid door too.

I don't want your money lol. the Imp depends- do you still want 360 support? If no just the FC4

Thanks for the write up, Bill! I'll hit the lab at some point this week!

Get a Hori Fighting Commander 4 and we'll work out the rest of the details. The V4 Hayabusa isn't bad, they fixed my big complaint (the cable compartment door on the V3), and it has the touchpad and all that jazz. I'm not a huge fan of the Hori parts but that's an easy enough fix.

Aight roads are good outside of potholes, just drove to FedEx to print some bullshit anime art for one of my sticks. I wanna play AH3, and I guess some DOA. I need to now sleep, Gonna aim for like 2PM.

So I'm sure if you look outside you'll notice that we've skipped back two months and it's January again and what the fuck is happening. I don't want anyone to die so I'm gonna assess the the road situation tomorrow and see what's up
