Yet the most practical is corner 5.5k with 6C CH or 6B CH.

Jin deals damage with his resets, not plain combos. The only fatal capable of 6k is yukikaze rc, which is 100 heat. =O

Lol, dat clash battle. True enough, match doesn't even matters anymore. A regular jin reset transforms 2k combo with 30 heat into 5k with like 75 heat. And jin can has quite a variety of those to choose from. I believe resets to be the core of jin's damage. ._. Large damage, that is.

Btw, ps3 slim overheating+breaking down is exclusive to all jin players or I'm just real lucky?

Kei is looking very good and solid overall (yet probably worse compared to Tetsuwo and Ren). Though I was going to cry looking at all these blocked 623C.

Not to mention the ridiculous infinites. But, nonetheless, it has interesting mechanics and great looks overall. I'm not even bothered with lancer's multiple launching kick loops or assassin's 6269A > 4219C loops since they look cool. Though gilgamesh and kirei's loops must be nerfed.

He's certainly trolling fellow jins by failing j.D > airdash > j.2C combos though.

This made me wonder whether it was a home fun match or it's just that japan is overrated.

I wish developers would made a new version of this game. Why did they stop supporting it, I wonder? It has the potential for being a very good fighting and an extremely popular game (in Japan, at least) at the same time. By the way, is there any way to play it online?

Somehow I feel indescribable butthurt from watching this match. My ffffffrustration knows no limits.

After j.2C > j.D > 6C you can do 623B in corner and dash cancel > 623B for "near corner". So it's not much of a problem. By the way, jin is not a heavy-damaging character, so 3.7k corner loop is good enough if you ask me.

Also, found a silly combo route: ... > j.2C > j.5C > dash sekkajin > 66A Not sure whether it's anything helpful, but at least it looks fun. Btw, works only with sekka at point blank distance. Look at the 6B animation, it should totally make enemy floorbound on aerial hit. Yet FC 2C > 6B does uncomboable shit on aerial hit. Not to mention the overhead.

I think, delayed 2B should reset the beat anew. Also, rehhyou burst punish is sick since jin can't do anything about it. ._. And, even if they know how to counter it, you'll still have the upper hand in this mixup since it has a lot of ways.

By the way, that thing Ren shown in netplay matches. corner combo > 3C > 214A > walk forward > 66 2A (also 2B) crossunder I'm quite in awe. It looks pretty much omnipotent. It punishes any rolls, quick wakeup, no wakeup. Neutral wakeup will get crossed; the opponent most likely would instinctively block since he had been crossed up twice. Or would just eat 5B. Slightly changing the timing will result in no second crossup (or you can just fail crossunder) without any visible motion change. If crossunder was successful, enemy's buffered DP will most likely fail, resulted in shit punishable by 5B (for an example, tager's 360 should turn into sledge). After the second crossunder you can do 5B > airdash crossup again. So.... O_O For me it's just 2369C. Inputting smoothly, and ending exactly with 9C, not 6+9C.

When you hit enemy with 2D at "medium" distance, do j.2C > j.5C > 66 > 5B > 5C > sekka > 6C > 214C. This is probably the best 2D followup possible. Also, it always works with 5C CH > 2D. Hivemind desu. =(

When you are too tired or lazy to do anything, you'll block, obviously. Since it requires only one button, you may drink coffee as well. The only drawback is that coffee does not make character throw invulnerable. Hope it will be fixed in the next installment.

2C is less punishable then 623AB, has head invul, good vertical reach and gives easy 3k+ combo. I believe it can be used frequently. But takes quite an experience to get used to timing. Since it's slow, yeah. Oh, and it can be special-cancelled on block which is good too.

I wish 2C wasn't that slow. Airborne enemies often jump over it before it gets to active frames. Or I'm just not used to its timing. By the way, it somehow reminds me of Relius' 2C. Even combo damage is pretty much the same.

Jin is underpowered so he must use it nonetheless. He is not Ragna to think about being creative beside mixups. =\
