Press down again while you're pressing 2C, then press B. You'll get it consistently on the first hit of 2C if you do it this way. It's pretty much 2C2B.

When I first picked up this game, I was honestly coming from Super Smash Bros Brawl knowing that I really loved aerial characters like Jigglypuff. When I heard about Taokaka, I pretty much flipped and tried her in CT, only to find that this game was a bit too hard for me when I got absolutely stomped by Haku-Men in her storymode. Not to mention I had no idea how to combo at all! Being a bit disheartened I decided to try Nu since I also had a thing for zoning characters as well, and despite her being high tier and all that stuff, I couldn't click onto her. It was when I was still playing Nu that I then got absolutely stomped by the Rachel CPU. I kept going back and back and I just kept getitng killed, until I came to a realization that she actually looked pretty cool! So I tried her and Rachel pretty much became my first main character in Blazblue. Of course, this changed in Continuum Shift when she got absolutely nerfed to the ground. I decided to experiment with the rest of the cast, playing a heavy amount of Tager and Tsubaki until I discovered Arakune, where he became my main all of CS. It wasn't until I haven't began to play the game a lot with my friends anymore before I decided to get good with all of the characters out of completion-sake. I could say I did all of the challenges and looked at all of the Dustloop combo threads just to practice my technical skills so I can improve in not only this fighting game, but other fighting games as well. The last character that I ever practiced was Taokaka, the character that got me interested in the first place. Throughout the remainder of CS2 to Extend, I decided to just play both Arakune and Taokaka, and eventually, I just moved on to Taokaka. I pretty much moved on to a lot of characters, Makoto and Platinum included, but I think I don't have something I'd call a main character. If I had to say, I probably mained the majority of the characters... but as of right now, I think I'm a competent Taokaka player, and a really good Arakune player.

I could help with Arakune. -
Yeah, his airdash is effected by a mininum height. His IAD isn't much of one as it's really just "double tap to get the airdash" instead of doing the usual 96. Just stick to double tapping when airdashing, you'll get used to it and it's less trouble than it's worth when you're used to it. Generally Arakune doesn't need to instant IAD that much, in my opinion. His jump normals can get him to the ground fairly quickly (j.4B especially)
