  1. Why would you want to reset with hazama?
  2. I really don't think that would be a "Legit Gimmick" because if you hit someone with jayoku you should always go for the damage with a big combo, you get almost all of you meter back and you get decent oki off of it.
  3. Could you give me situations where each of these options are used effectively? because it just seems like they block either option after a neutral tech or backward roll and you are back to zoning game? and i knew about option select hotenjin but nobody i play with is dumb enough to roll out of the cornor to get hit by it. and if they are they get it by it once immediatly say in their head okay should not do that anymore. Edit: Flying in on anything that's not a confirmed chain is a free combo for the oppenent.....
  4. Any body have any tips on hazama oki? i feel as though hazama's oki so weak (even though everyones oki is pretty bad ) but i feel like Haz is at a disadvantage in the matter because he cant run . im so used to being able to wait for the tech and react to it but Haz doesnt have that option, I hate having to guess weather to try and time 2A is beat rolls or a meaty 5B to keep pressure on wake up in the cornor its so fustrating really. and I have no idea where to begin with Hazama's almost non existent oki mid-screen. I feel as though my Hazama gameplay has hit a ceiling and im trying to get past it.
  5. I was practicing IB hotenjin and i noticed its easier for me to pull it off when i do a standing IB. is there a difference in advantage between standing and crouching IB? also any other tips on practicing this TOO important part of hazama's game? its so tedious recording block strings and finding IB holes in them for EVERY CHARACTER in traning mode
  6. is this a true block string? 'ive tried it on some characters and their 2A beats my dash. any tips or enlightenment on how to do the block string properly because either it isn't a true string or my execution is off
  7. i have hit 6A a total of 0 times due to the fact that its incredible slow only Gatling's in hotenjin and 99% of my opponents MASH so i usually get a CH into rape combo for even attempting it.
  8. sorry if this question has been asked somewhere before but how do you continue to keep pressure with Haz after a BnB if they tech roll backwards? i tried dash forward to stay in there face but i usually end up getting hit becasue i have to dash more than once. and i tired using various chains (blocked B follow up, whiff chain follow up) but i always get counted so i stopped and now they just get away from me
  9. Hazama player looking to practice his Tager match up, please PM me or send me a message on PSN I will be online all day. PSN: BigDaddyDusty Sorry if this is in the wrong place if so could some direct me to the right thread?
  10. EASY! STEP 1: RUN AWAY! (You may want to use Oroboros because hazama can't run) STEP 2: THROW RANDOM CHAINS STEP 3: KEEP RUNNING AROUND THROWING CHAINS STEP 5: JAYOKU HOUTENJIN!!!!!!!!!!!! STEP 6: TIME OUT (WIN) STEP 7: PROCEED TO NEXT MATCH AND BEGIN TROLLING SOME MOAR!
  11. Sorry if this was already found, but i was practicing mix ups with hazama in training (eww mix ups with hazama, garbage i know) but i found something pretty useful, if you RC the j214B# and do J.6D~D NEAR the corner (About 3/4 screen to the corner) if they tech roll backwards (really bad habit of most players) you should be on the other side of them and get a free cross up if their reactions are fast enough. If the don't tech roll backwards or neutral wake up you should be far enough to just being the zoning game again. With hazama's fast meter build the RC should mostly be free anyways. Also since hazama has a shit ton of meter most of the time anybody else know how to use RC effectively for pressure or mix ups?
  12. Okay so lets say i just hit my opponent with with a combo that ends in j.214B#. What do i do now? What are my options to apply pressure? or am i just supposed to GTFO and play the full screen hit confirm game all over again? Also how am i supposed to get in with him. I usually zone out and wait for a confirmed chain and the only other way I can get damage is punishment off unsafe stuff? I have a feeling this is the only way to play him which i don't mind I like the style but when my opponent corners me and knows how to apply good pressure it's like HELL I have good reactions but i cant possibly block everything, so usually I like to be the aggressor so I don't have to deal with the corner rape that gets dished out on me once in a while.
  13. OK so getting the dash consistently after 236D~C is the most frustrating part about Hazama for me. Are there any other tricks to help me get this down?
  14. What's the benefit of dashing after 236D~C to hit 5C? I've tried Hazama BnB's without adding to dash and it still hits Also what are some good combos after a AA 2C?
