  1. Sorry for the late response. Valkenhayn's human form seems to fit the bill here. His attacks cover a large portion of the screen, hit hard, and almost every properly confirmed hit leads into a good combo. The problem is that he's very reliant on his speedier, low defense wolf form, so he doesn't completely fit into what you're looking for. If you don't have him downloaded, see if you have a friend or someone in your local scene who has him downloaded and will let you give him a shot.
  2. Jump or roll. Assuming that this isn't a tech trap that'll catch you when you're landing from the neutral tech, the throw invulnerable frames should keep you from getting caught. Rolling should put you out of range of the grabbox.
  3. The omit makes sense in that it isn't strictly necessary, it just helps. I'll be honest and admit that I'm lazy enough to not include it if I think I can complete the combo without it.
  4. [w]5B > IAD > j.B also has the added bonus of getting you a bit of extra corner carry. It'll let you get off the full corner combo from ~1/3 of the stage away from the corner rather than requiring you to be almost directly in it. I dunno why, but IADing in wolf has always been awkward to me. I'm used to 96, but with wolf I usually have to do 966 to get the airdash out.
  5. I ca- Damnit, Linear. Stole my line before I even got here. More Twitter icons? I do have to wonder what exactly they're working on right now.
  6. Wow, good find, Nokita. Now we can put something behind theorizing combos. Worthy of note: It doesn't seem to want to work of you hit Google Translate, you have to keep it in Japanese. Also, it doesn't seem to tell you if the combo dropped or not; it's currently saying that 2C > 6C combos.
  7. Doesn't seem like it. With the change to 3C, to my knowledge, the only way to combo into 236B now is off of 2C or in a corner combo. Seems like 236B is just for the bonus proration now.
  8. Happy Halloween, all. Time to celebrate Madam Rachel's birthday.
  9. Yeah, my initial reaction to seeing Valk there was "PUPPY!". Then I realized it was Valk, and said it again anyways. Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday, Madam Rachel.
  10. Add a grappling hook to a rope and tie your rope to the bike. Just grappling hook to the back of the car and claim you biked the whole way down.
  11. Welcome to Dustloop! Courtesy of Erkz from Melty Bread:
  12. It is, especially since you have no control over when the opponent is going to get off the ground in BB. Just wanted to note that there is that space to hit them out of cat chair.
  13. I'm fairly certain that he still has the [[w]5B > IAD > j.A > j.B > 5B] x N for corner carry (or whatever the exact notation is).
  14. Bad things as in "Luna got mad" bad things.
  15. I'm having some trouble with this matchup. Ice swords control space well and make it hard to approach, and his j.A is really good for shutting down a lot of what I try to do in the air. His pressure is freakin' scary with practically everything he does being safe. Anybody have any advice for this match?
  16. Just like last time: Good job, Chaos. Good freakin' job. You didn't even get them to vote for Vampires.
  17. You do 4D > 5C~D. Do 4D, use 5C to keep yourself from flying into the opponent, then D to transform back.
  18. One of the times I glad to be wrong, we get it sooner that way. At least I got the word "Summer" right, even if I wrote it down for the wrong question.
  19. The game isn't going to be out until Summer 2012. Console port is apparently going to be a few months after that.
  20. I don't have a twitter, but I'll take 'em anyways.

  22. You were doing too much stay-on-the-ground-and-strafe in wolf, rather than flying around like a jackass and forcing him to use up nails in order to get to you. It's not like you get better pokes or can even block in wolf, so get to abusing that mobility. In combos, namely after [w]j.236A > j.236B and the like, use 4C instead 5/6C if possible. Turns out it uses less wolf meter. You seem to be a bit impatient on wake up and when under pressure. In the very first round of the second match, you immediately went from full health into the red without blocking any of his oki. Don't be afraid to cool your heels and block until you find an opening to escape/hit back. Use the barrier/tech OS (1/4+A+B+C) if you think they're going to grab you, since it doesn't leave you open to get counterhit. Use ... > [w]5B > j.B > 3C > j.A > land 5D > 2C > 6C > 2C > 6B > 5B > 2C > sj.B > j.214B > 5/6D > j.236B > 7C > j.B > dj.B > dj.C when hitconfirming in wolf in or close to the corner. It lets you get in damage even when you're low on wolf meter, and it gets more damage/meter gain than the regular combo anyways. Mix it up a little more after 6B, you seemed to exclusively do 2B > 5C afterwards. Don't be afraid to mix in wolf cancel > j.A for an overhead and going straight into 5C/3C to make it airtight. ========================================================= That's really all I could see. Nice matches, it's always good to see another Valk.
  23. 4C is the one that should make you go straight back, then at him, without any vertical movement. You can do 5/6C if you want, it's just that 4C uses less wolf meter.
