I can agree with this at least for yukiko. Her frame traps are absolutely devastating. Also, Naimat, dude. Give dem pointers on Akihiko, need to learn that dude. Only character I can slightly play as besides Yuki is Yu and he is nearly as square jawed as akihiko. That and you said he is like KOF, i need that.

Ya I'm gonna try to make it tomorrow night but it depends on when I get back from South Carolina, at first I wasn't sure if I wanted to get in the car again but fuck it. I'd rather be in the car longer if I had the ability to level up my play. I just have such a drive with this game to get good.

I've played about 15 ranked games with Yukiko now. Haven't won once. Learning this is going to be a long road, but this is the same way I felt with KOF. Yukiko is so fucking fun though, the amount of control you have is crazy. That and the unblockable setups are so nasty, having a hard time with some of the unblockables though.

GGs LastStarSavior. Sorry for the DC, hotel internet crapped out. I think after those few games I feel a bit more comfortable with Yukiko than anyone else. I love the amount she just controls everything. If you have any pointers just throw em my way.

Man I'm having a bit of a character crisis. So many characters I wanna play but I really only want to play one til I know how this game works. Anyone playing ps3 online tonight?

This. What's getting me right now is people are treating it as "mash a for combo into super" and not 5AAA plus another a gets you a super. It's the same as if you played KOF and said "why do any other combo with Bennie when I can just do short, short, knee, super?" Ya it's there but it is not optimized well and there are way better options. As Milln said, use the 5A strings as block strings or other things. There really is no need to demonize the system. The cool Aki punch thing is useful even if you don't end it in a super, sames Yosuke's, I'm pretty sure you can do some neat kunai and moonsault tricks off of it on block, but I could be wrong on that one, may be seeing qcf+a during those.

I think I'm gonna have to play yukiko. Like a lot. She's so cool. Anyone around here playing her?

Im having such a hard time with pressure and dealing with pressure since ive never played an arc system game. Ive picked up a bit just playing you guys but its still rough.

Try comfort inn and suites or comfort suites. Marriot, holiday inn, and belmont are nice too but not sure on price. Just know size from delivering lol.

Well, keep in mind still a total noob here, kanji's run start up is so long i still have a hard time getting around the beam. But ya this is why i want to play so.e of you guys online and get some real practice.

Dude I'm the opposite of that, I can't find a way past Elizabeth as Kanji. Her beam, Maziodyne I think, seems like it just keeps him out so well. If you got a way past it dear god let me know, I'll add you if you wanna try to get a few games in.

Ya im pretty much down to teddie and kanji. Ted doesnt seem too bad but his items cam be hard to keep track of. Also having a really hard time figuring out combos with characters that do more than the autos off of a's and jump ins. Not sure if it's just my non anime fighter background kicking in though.

We better get together pretty soon and play some p4a, we live too close not to boy-o.
