I think they removed the F property on the first hit of 5D, where before it immediately beat out any of her drives (even 4D). If anything, timing the second hit as 'meaty' (lol 1 active frame) or the latter active frames of the first hit as meaty you'll beat her anyway. Getting a counter hit with the second hit of 5D is better than hitting with the first in my opinion, because since you can 5B after the dash cancel you get more damage overall for the punish.

He didn't lose it, the punish just changed. 5D is practically the only real 'drive stopper' he has, aside from a well-placed Deadspike. If mistimed, however, she can 2D and j.4D over it. /sigh/ Of course you'd main Buri. Not even surprised.
