I'm gonna guess it is the place between the offtrack betting place and the pharmacy because it doesn't have a sign and I can't find it anywhere else on the street view...maybe not?

I will definitely be there but I'm not sure about entering the tourny because depending on the amount of people it doesn't seem like there would be much monetary gain(even if I did magically top 3), I'm kinda running low on cash + I have never played any kind of game competitively, so besides being a gg scrub I'm also just a competitive gaming scrub in general, but for the most part I'll be down there to play casuals and acquaint myself to the scene.

What time does game pad usually open?

I am usually busy Saturday, so it would be easier if there was some kind of casual session some other time this week, but I possibly will be able to go, it depends what happens that day.

Hello there, I am some what new to the scene(the competitive one anyway), I mainly play GG due to the fact I have yet to acquire a ps3 or 360. Is there any specific place to play GG or do gatherings just happen?

I would say if you just happened to use fanfir when your opponent is at little health but this just happened no to kill him/her, then going into tyrant rave is always a good way to finish things off, but other wise it just leaves your opponent too many opportunities if blocked. Sticking with BnN into a sidewinder loop is a lot less punishable. Though this is a some what viable combo, it can still be severely punished if blocked but it is unburstable;BnN, whiff Fafnir>>FB Tyrant Rave >> Bandit Revolver.

Justice and kliff are not in ac but are in ac+ as unlock-able characters but neither are legal in tournaments.

Though ac is cheaper ac+ was released as a newer version of ac that got rid of all the small bugs and such that were in the original ac, so you might as well get ac+ (and make sure its not the Japanese version unless you have a modded ps2).

I think its time we boycott BB until they release (or re-release) a new GG (I know...it isn't a very practical solution)

Wouldn't it be a fair and easy solution to give late entrants losses in all the rounds they have missed including the one taking place at the moment of their arrival? -If this seems like a bad idea, please inform me why because I have not been to any formal tournaments.

The real question is; why haven't aksys and arc re-released ggxxac on newer consoles already? All they would need to do is use the ps2 version to reformat to work on newer consoles or add it to the many game networks(guilty gear X2 is on XBL network so why cant they do that with ggxxac*with online play of course*?), it would take a little ingenuity and computer know-how but that's what aksys and arc are for. Aksys and arc must be thinking up something(or should) because what would be the point of letting one of their most profitable game communities die down?
