  1. I just noticed in the supinoza match that 236236C did not lunge.Maybe the video skipped a frame but I'm kinda wondering why is that?
  2. Whoa, I didn't notice the lunging part until you pointed that out. For 236A, I was thinking the same thing for the baiting part. Though, the player was mixing it up with 236C for maybe a follow-up to 214D.
  3. Before 6CC, you have to wait until the opponent is on the floor and time the 6cc and high jump. For two challenges with this, you can push bang in the corner. However, there's one that's going to give you a lot of trouble and it's with J236D>J214D. You also have to wait a little after she's done with the 236 animation. I hope this helps.
  4. You can’t have success without trial and error. My input is going to be a bit inconsistent since I think it orients towards the opponent mind-set and doesn’t reflect the whole character. Open 236 and 623 moves are a bit risky. In one situation, I think I only did 623a and 623D out of twelve matches. 623a made a trade off with one of Litchi’s jB. 236X by itself can’t be used too frequently unless you caught her off-guard and planned to do an rc or 214x afterwards. Be careful of dp if she sees you coming with that move too often. Actually, just watch if she uses the dp too often and bait it.I found myself tapping jA to interrupt her jB and jC frequently. When she did a complete air dash with jB, I mashed 2A. If she double jumped, 2C sometimes worked. If you air backdash and she dashes forward, she may throw you to a start a dmg-inducing combo. I stayed away from the corner when she was staff-equipped and sparingly rushed her when she was staffless.
  5. Hey Rogxei! Long time, no see. lol That's is such an awesome avatar btw.

  6. No problem Picup. That's what we're here for after all.
  7. Back to the first clip, the 236236x needs to be comboed because it doesn’t work by itself. Also, 214C is too slow to combo(in CS1). There are two ways that I’ve found that counter lambda’s 236C: 3C(rare) and 236D. However, the execution is air-tight so predict well. Don’t air dive too much unless it’s a rare player-specific situation or he just doesn’t see it altogether. At around 4:27(1st vid) when the CH 22D>6C touched, don’t use 214C. Instead, use jB to launch into an air combo. The astral won’t work from a long distance unless he screws up, and it needs to be comboed. Here are examples for astral set-ups: 5BB>5CC>22D, from a 214D, and (to add misery to the defeat) 22D>22D… On the second vid, there were hardly any errors except for what Daedron mentioned.
  8. For the 1st vid, the..um.. first 214B seems to be a pretty good start. Though, the following combo afterwards blue-beated because she hit the floor before the 5b hit. Try removing the dash and place faith on the 5b(it looked like it would still reach if you didn’t hit the dash). You can air launch afterwards. At 0:26, if you want to hit a 214x during a bnb combo, use 214a (since it’s the quickest one) with a 22c. If you get the timing right, it can follow into a wall bounce>6c>623c>j236a>j214c. Don’t continue with a distortion drive after a blue beated falling jc. At around 1:57, when 22X hits(can’t tell which one), use 6c>623x>j236a>j214c. Depending on the 22x, the stun will vary to make the previous set-up I mentioned possible. At 2:04, I noticed the combo blue-beated(seemed kinda weird) after 6cc. Cut the extra c in 6cc and jBC>JCC>j236a>j214C or,instead of 6cc, use 2b>2cc>jC>JCC>j236a>j214C. …This is just from watching about two minutes. Oh boy. I’ll work on some more later.
  9. Do not dive into Ragna too much unless you have 50 heat ready for an rc. This also goes for the 236c when someone’s on guard. You will get punished. I’ll give the advice that someone gave me when I first posted here. Test out your combos in training mode to check which ones miss(blue beat) or hit( red beat). Though, I honestly think that there was lag there. Around 3:10, insert a 5cc>236x before doing 22b. Also, a 22b(near corner) counter hit can be picked up by 5b and then launch into an air combo. At 1:51, just build your meter. At 2:36,6bb doesn’t combo (at the moment). Also, a counter hit j214c at the corner will blue beat(miss) to 6c. Use 2b>2cc to launch into an air combo. During the lambda match, do not jD since most of lambda work comes from those air swords. Out of randomness, 22b wind-up has armor against projectiles. Remove the c in 6c and jump cancel because you will get punished. At 6:44, 6c doesn’t combo in 5cc. At 7:20, 236236c can also be comboed. At around 8:06, the counter hit 22c can combo to 5bb and air launch. 10. In between Hell's Fang or Gauntlet Hades, you can actually 2a or 5a him(given that you don't use barrier or he doesn't rc). Also, if the Ragna goes for the air too much, you can time and use 2c.Also, practise charge cancel and counter assault. Even though Tsubaki is a low tier character, I would just stick with characters you like or comfortable with.
  11. Those were some good games, Kiba. It's a shame that there was heavy lag in the end.

  12. Before I start and for better clarification, I would look up Kiba’s match write-up on Tager and the video he posted earlier. Now to start… -Put the distance between you and Tager, and don’t continue attacking if he’s blocking it or something’s wrong altogether. 5b it and backdash away from it. -5b > 22D(maybe 6cc) is effective here. Trying counter assault can work too if your options are low. -Also, 5bb>5cc>214a>(charged)22c and 5bb>5cc>22D>6cc>jc>jcc>j214d>2cc can miss if the guy doesn’t recover and punish you afterwards. -At 4:54, 236236C after 6c would have been a possible option for spacing. Also, 236236C after a 2c(or skipping 2c) in 5bb>5cc>22D>6cc>jc>jcc>j214d>2cc would’ve fit.
  13. Yeah, the link didn't go through...
  14. I comatosed from Thanksgiving food! lol No, I didn't. But, anyway,I haven't seen you in quite a while. We should scrim during the weekend.

  15. Dude your detailed Tsubaki vs Tager post really did wonders for my matchup. Thx

  16. Yeah, I do have an account, but I sign up occasionally to put in my two cents. Sry for the late message. :)

  17. I decided to add you because you're one of the people I also match up with from time to time.

  18. Yo! I saw your id and region so I decided to add you for scrims.

  19. After reviewing the vids, some of the stuff I did became painfully obvious. Though, i'll keep the advice that Kiba, sten, and dusk in check. I greatly appreciate it.
  20. I'm rusty and need some tsubaki advice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcQXge9pgx0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hL6_TYA5FE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhgddCzpDNw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05Qwhifyv0I
  21. I liked how you totally held your own against those lambdas tonight. Keep it up. :)

  22. I so love the darkstalkers series and wondered why it hasn't received the reboot it deserved. The people have the technology to emulate all those crazy animations. I mean we see more Morrigan in Vs. than in her original series.
  23. I'm having some difficulty with Valk. approaching with hardcore zoning characters like Rachel and Lambda. I tried to C dash in wolf drive, but I got punished back into the corner. Is there anyway of going around this? I wanted to put this in matchups, but the threads are locked
  24. Before I start, let me reference something from the Mabinogion: a corpse can be reanimated on the conditions that it cannot speak. This got me thinking to Phantom, who not only cannot speak but is also speculated to be Nine(a very powerful witch). From what I understand,Phantom has been used as a slight power advantage for the antagonists. I think they're trying to use Tenjou's body the same way Phantom's body is being used right now, which is just to be a powerful tool. I think it's more than this, but this is what I can speculate based on what I know so far.
