Humorous review. Wouldn't use SSF4 as an perfect game since it basically an updated version of SF4 (which was bare bones too). Expect the same thing to happen too MVC3 in the not so distant future.

Also recommend getting the guide. Helped with my Dr. Doom (and Phoenix) game play considerably. Also having the frame data at hand can be helpful.

Game has more depth than most people thought intentionally. Once you get pass the easy combos faze you can start working on strategies based around your play style. Have no idea if this game will outlast MVC2, but players are still working hard to discover new things. Honestly that's all we can ask for in fighting games in general.

I've been using that ever since the release of CS, and its one of my favorite pressure tools in the corner. The air lightning would probably be one of my favorite buffs Rachel received in the CS. Tried to play CT Rachel again, but found her too stiff compared to CS Rachel. Also found that playing CS Rachel made my average CT Rachel godly. Seems that nerfs forces you to either get better or switch mains.

Only fought one Rachel (since game release) that used that tactic on me. Crazy that something so simple can make someone second guess your wakeup options. After fighting I immediately started playing around with it in training mode. Feels like every new Rachel technic I learn is a levelup. New possibilities and more ways to annoy your opponent:yaaay:

God i love Newgrounds. Much props to the female players (for being cool with it).

I would wait unless you can talk someone into buying your copy (at a discounted price). Currently the online play is pretty sub par compared to recent fighting games. Would love to join my usual crowd of online friends, but the spectator mode is non existent. Bought the game on release day and I'm still trying to learn the in and outs of my current team.

Found a useful gimmick in one of the Mazo vs. Kaqn matches (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPzSUFb8Xfc) Around 00:40 Mazo uses 5D during a neutral tech (grabbing Kaqn in the process). Decided to test this out in some of my matches today, and it seems to work pretty good. Help out a lot in my Hazama and Hakuman matchups.

Not possible to TK the Tiny lobelia close to the ground (can with the pumpkin), but you can do something else with that input. A236 combined with 9D can send the lobelia in a nice horizontal trajectory.

Never said she had to be god tier, but I'm certainly won't be upset if that happens to be the case (lol).

Hopefully this will finally wipe away all memory of shit tier Rachel in CS1. CS2 Rachel is back in top form and she will have vengence:yaaay: Loving the new corner combos (damage and oki wise). See WAY more Rachel vids (compared to CT), and I'm loving every moment.

Just downloaded the game today, and its pretty good fighter. Surprised by the amount of detail of the characters and background (for its file size). Only wish I had someone to play with, but I would be lucky to find another player in my state (live in South Carolina). Thanks for the helpful posts Hecatom

That actually a good strategy to used during Litchi's Great Wheel mixups. Always seem to get hit after the third mixup lol

Thanks for posting the video Soniti. Seems like I'm finally getting the hang of performing lvl.2 j.2c in a match (without blackbeating). Haven't performed the ones off George though. Have to get on that.
