Nah nothing to do with my D timing, it's silly, randomly my 5A-5B will just not combo, sometimes it will. It's so weird. I usually hold D just after Nirvana hits anyway =p I dunno what causes it, it's annoying

Hey, I started messing with Carl's combos yesterday, got them down for the most part but having trouble now I've moved onto learning the Nirvana loops etc For example, 2A-5A-5B-(press and hold 6D)-5C-(release 6D) (Carl - Opponent - Nirvana) I release 6D a little after I press 5C, just before it hits (is this ok?) I can do it fine, and got the timing down for this actual segment, when the opponent gets hit with 6D and flies back to Carl, when I go to repeat the loop, the 5B in, 2A-5A-5B never combos for me! So I end up with a 7 hit combo and then the 5C hits and it stars again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, it's frustrating. Also for some of the loops where you can supposedly do 3 loops in corner I can only ever get two, same problem, the jC into w/e will combo first time round, second time, with same timing, nothing Any feedback would be appreciated, I want to learn Carl and this is really upsetting me lol ;_;

Hey, I think Arakune looks cool and was looking to mess around with him and see what he's about, but I'm really lost. When I look on the sticky threads and stuff I still do;'t know what to do or if I am doing it right. He seems like a very diff and complex character and as a result I feel v lost. Any advice or tips are very appreciated

I see some combos are listed with sj.C, falling 2A j.C as the ender (after falling j.2C, 2C) as opposed to sj.2A, IAD j.2A, j.C. These both do the same damage as far as I know, is it just situational?

How important is it to master the sj.2A > falling j.2c > 2c > ... ? In certain instances (after corner renka > 2C/TK Hotaru > 2C/corner tsubaki > 2C) it says to use it, and I can see why as a standard falling j.2c > 2c would not work in these occasions as the spacing is not correct and the combo blackbeats otherwise I have no trouble with standard falling j.2C > 2C timing (after kishu > enma for example), but with the added sj.2A in front it's a little different, kind of hard to get used to. I got it a few times out of 10, just need to keep practicing I guess My main concern is that do I have longer stun off the j.2A? (than I usually would with say a kishu > enma). Can I delay my falling j.2C more or is the timing pretty much the same as standard? Sorry if I am being too specific lol

Isn't j.C a new air normal for Hakumen? With j.5C taking the place of the CT j.C? I could be totally wrong as I'm only new to the game

I believe the IAD is done during the combo, after the initial j.2A I noticed when practicing Hakumen's BnBs that you need to dash fast after the first j.2A otherwise it will black beat/opponent will tech. I use my eyes to see when the move has ended (visual aid would be when the sword trail vanishes after the j.2A, good tip to dash then!) Hope it helps Also, can anyone confirm this for me, I can do this combo perfect, doesn't blackbeat, for a total of 4224 damage off of two magatama (in corner) j.2C > 5C > 623AA > falling j.2C, 2C, j.2A (done as fast as possible to prevent blackbeat), j.2A, air dash, j.2A, j.2A, j.2A, j.5C Seems to be better option in corner?

Ok, so I am learning this game after being a huge fan of GG. I decided to pick up Hakumen. Anyway, I've been going through the combos on this page, starting from the top http://blazblue.byethost13.com/bbcs/cha ... combo.html I got the beginner combos all down, but the trouble started with the next combos For example, 1) (Hit high in air) 214A > move forward a bit > 2C > jc > [JB Aerial Combo or J2A Aerial Combo] - I cannot get the 2C to combo after the move forward a bit (I am doing neutral throw -> 214A) Also, as far as JB Aerial combo goes, this is one of them JB > jc > J2C > ..... For the life of me I cannot get the jc > j2c, it keeps black beating on me. Is it really strict? Also, another aerial combo is j.a > j.b > ...., but j.a doesn't seem/want to combo to j.b, even if I delay it (no jcing involved fyi) Any help is appreciated
