  1. Could someone explain to me what's going on right here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP9w04x6x-g#t=19m50 Is this a kara air throw, something exploitable with tsubakis air throw range, or just a glitch in the video?

  3. Thanks a lot ! Sounds like the key to beating bang is to get a knockdown before he has meter and abuse his wakeup. Matchup doesn't seem as hopeless as it did to me before.
  4. I'd love to have more insight on this matchup from experienced players. This is one of the matchups I find extremely hard to deal with. Problems I'm having: - It seems he can outpoke me in every situation - Seems like he can get in for free whenever he wants, I try not to attempt a 2c anti air until his nails are gone but a good bang doesn't use them up quickly to keep the threat there - The pressure! - His "super powered up" state (don't know the name) seems like a free round for him whenever he activates this. Maybe I just don't know enough about how the state operates - His wakeup seems really good? Looks like he can do his counter move or his distortion on wakeupe if he has meter. I really don't understand why he would have a counter attack, that attacks itself and is safe on block, seems like the most broken thing about him.
  5. Session at my place today (Cary NC) and we will have a fair amount of BB players. 7th would be great if you came through so we could play some more, had fun playing the other week.   7. I'm in Cary NC and I play, having people over tonight to play some bbcs2 actually. You're more then welcome to come. I think most of the FG community in NC posts on SRK and you can find our thread over there in the local match making forum, but I'm getting a lot more into BBCS then mvc3 so I've come over here looking for people as well. We have a few players already though, PM me for info if you want to come. Not sure how close lumberton is to Cary (moved here about it a year ago).
  8. In Noels combo notation, what does the notation "RC" mean? Ex: 5B > 5C > RC > 6A > 6C > 236A > 66C > j.D > d.6D > d.5D > d.5C > d.6B > d.236D

  12. What is Hakumens weakness? I can't get in or out damage him, it's extremely frustrating to lose to pokes and the whole thing seems like an uphill battle. Is there anything I can do besides "mixup blockstrings" and try to make him scared to use his drive? I can't figure out how to consistantly beat hakumen for the life of me, getting hit with 3 hit 3K combos pisses me off beyond belief.
  13. Thanks. It seems to me that 6B~C gives the most range on the kara throw, is this just my eyes deceiving me and it's been tested and proven that 6C~B and 2C~B give the most range?

Placing and throwing the staff has helped a lot, but the lambda I play as some pretty serious block strings that only allow me enough time to 2D plant between the projectile attacks and the start up of ground spikes, then I need to block (jumping puts me into a combo). I need to go through 2 block strings in order to be able to place the staff and then throw the staff during my next opening, and with mixups its not really an option since lambda can just switch up her keep out game. This is a very frustrating match up, as annoying as hakumen for me. These 2 characters feel like an uphill battle the whole time.
  15. None of this information in the thread has helped me, this matchup seems impossible from my end. Litchi is out ranged, and out powered (he does over 3K in 3 hits??? c'mon). Whenever i try to mount some type of offense the guy I play uses his drive and I just get countered (I hate playing characters that punish you for being aggressive). Can anyone with real experience against hakumen please give some insight on this matchup? Thank you.
