People who rarely fight her never see 6B overhead, or j.2C for that matter... I fight the same people weekly they still rarely see it. Or that she's got good air normals that beat a lot of stuff.. Or that jumping in on her without a plan is suicide. Tsunugui TSUNUGUI (People will hate this move quickly.) Or that habaya eats so many projectiles. Campy Jins who keep throwing ice swords are funny. Or how much blockstun full charged SoD leaves them in. They never know what to do and always let you charge it. Thats how Mu is. She'll probably always be that way even if she's played more frequently. I don't care if people play her or don't. Hipsters man. ALL of you.

Yeah, on some characters you can do CH 3C > 6A > 2C > :6C > habacan > stuff It's fun. :3

I fight Beaver pretty much every week and I'll agree, I think it's in Lambda's favor. Closing in on her is hard. Best way to do it is jump in + barrier. Mu has to be really cautious. Lambda's 4D is something you really gotta watch out for. Get hit by that in the air and she'll 236C into big damage. Mu's lasers might go full screen, but they don't have a hitbox on activation like Lambda's swords. I'd say this matchup is difficult for the same reason Haz is, in the fact that it's risky to set stuff up. However if you can pin her in the corner you can win, it's just catching her that's hard. You have to be really patient and close in slowly. Only set up one stein at a time between her zoning phases. Use Habaya cause it'll cancel her swords and buy you some time.

Double post but derp... Anyways I fought a Litchi in the last tournament I went to an got blown up pretty bad. I realized I have no clue what to do against a Litchi that knows what they're doing. Habaya helped but I couldn't seem to zone her out consistently in the least. :< Her range when she has the staff is pretty beastly lol.

When I lose a lot I just rage quietly. I just set down my stick, grumble for like a minute or two whilst calling myself the worst Mu like ever...then I get over it and hit up the matchup threads about the character I lost to. Then try to (hopefully) do better next time.

If you can do the harder combo to get some extra damage theres no reason not to do it. However if it's a combo I feel I've got less than a 80%+ chance of completing, I'll usually opt for an easier slightly less damaging option. I'd rather do a bit less damage that drop my combo and lose oki. That said there aren't too many combos I can't do though, but there are a few that I'm still working on~

Mu's hard work whether she's top tier or not though, at least I think so. Playing a strong character is incredibly satisfying, but it's equally satisfying to make a lower tier one shine. These are the reasons I don't care about tiers. I can, however...fully understand someone picking up a stronger character for tournaments though.

I play Mu cause she's fun. Playing a character just cause they're top tier is kinda lame, but refusing to play a character cause they're high tier is just as lame. I'll play Mu if she's S, and I'll play her if she falls down. Even if she ever becomes nearly unplayable (I doubt this) I'll still play her. I respect character dedication a great deal, to use the character you like despite tier placement (low or high) shows determination imo.

Mu is the kinda character people think is easy "Just mash lasers!" then once they get past the scrubs who don't know whats going on, they'll get blown up again and again and realize she's complicated. I get a lot of "Lol no one plays Mu..." in my scene. Her usage rate on the cabinets is only higher than Arakune and Carl...and I'm pretty damn sure that percentage is all me. xD

Thats cause the rest of the hawaii peeps on our FB don't post on dustloop cause they are butts lol. So we keep our thread active but chatting it up with you lovely people! ^^
