Yeah it's a sorta difficult to confirm but it's really useful and does awesome damage. This one doesn't have to be a counter hit though. Just a normal j.C will work.
-
Messing around with some stuff. If this is noted somewhere please let me know. Was messing around and if you hit with an air-to-air j.C and the opponent and you are very close to the ground you can land and follow up with 2C > :6C > habacan > etc. You and the opponent have to be pretty low to the ground though so it's a just little tricky to time right. If they're too high 6C won't hit even if you delay it. I haven't done and real serious testing with this so any further info on how useful this really is would be great. I only tested on Ragna so far. Seems like a decent low to the ground hitconfirm if you do it right. Can net good damage if you're somewhat close to the corner. I managed around 5.8k by doing habacan > dash 6A > 6B > 5C > SoD > dash 6A > j.2C > j.D etc into super.

Yeah, he said you two met. He also was shocked to find out you came from Kaneohe too. HO BRAH he nevah know dakine eh. So if you wanna beat him up you should come visit us. ....and yeees...air tsunugui will be a godsend versus Tao. :D

...you can air throw her out of that? I must try this.

I'd love to have Moo-chan's sound clips for ring tones and whatnot. ;w; I dunno what ripping those files entails though. Time to look through random boards.

Thanks greatly for the detailed post C0R, good stuff and very useful. And yeah CA and to an extent DP has been useful for getting the darn cat away. Hopefully I can get some vids of the matches I've had with Mystic up for critique sometime. And yeah, 2C feels sorta useless in this matchup unless you read Tao pretty darn well. I had 2C baited frequently when I first started fighting him and quickly found out you can get punished pretty hard for timing it badly. I still need to get the hang of using my 6A anti-air actually. Since I fight Tsubaki more than anyone I actually don't use AAs too much cause she's not dumb enough to jump at me. :3 (smart girl you are Lunar...) Also it's been said but air throwing a lot in this matchup is relatively hilarious....although I still lose 9/10, but at the very least I don't get totally bodied and can usually at least take a round. Anyways I think tao CAN combo off of 6B even point blank on Mu at least, it might be character specific(?) I'm not sure but iirc I've been hit point blank and it comboed but I don't fully remember it. Either way it's real damn slow and it's actually really easy to DP her 6B on reaction. It's just her pressure that annoys me more than anything. Damn cat. xD Thanks again man.

Agi, how could you? We were gonna try to break it to him gently.

Yo double post, but I got a question. How many actions can Taokaka preform once she's in the air before she has to come back down? I know that if she single jumps, she can air dash twice, double jump, air dash once, and triple no dash at all. What about her drives? What are the limit to those in neutral/when pressuring her opponents? I keep trying to keep an eye on her and count how many times she's jumped and how many actions she has left before attempting anything, but the Tao I play spaces himself pretty well and uses lots of drives/crossup stuff in his pressure game. I don't know the extent of her moves so I'm never sure where to get out of it or what I should be watching for. Mostly, is there a good place to poke her out of her pressure safely, assuming the Tao spaces well? Or am I better off just blocking/barrier to try and get her out of range? Tao's pressure feels endless sometimes if I don't CA her off or barrier block... Also...I'm guessing this matchup isn't in Mu's favor buuuut, I'm curious as to estimates of what the actual matchup between them is.

Yeah I was gonna say... At any rate, SF people deciding to pick up BB is awesome. Pick up Moo-chan? Even more awesome. :3

Omg excaliborg is possibly gonna be useful? It's gonna be worth loli-installing the bat? Combos off reversals I love it. =w=; -

omg bat followups yes. ;w; -
Considering they gave us the option to charge the bombs, use DP midair, yata too...honestly if they didn't nerf SOMETHING she'd end up being Nu-status minus the braindead gameplay. That being said, it seems like they're planning to make her much more solid all around, and am hoping the final build will leave her well off but not too OP. But if she does end up OP I'm just gonna enjoy all the salty tears she'll cause. But still...no one will play her. :D

Seems most likely...

it basically goes 6A > j.C > [laser hit] > j.2C. You're either doing it too fast or too slow.

We got chargable explosions, and the ability to use DP in the air and laser super is usable in the air now too. xD Mu is on her way to becoming god tier. (inb4 they make her worse) -
...yeah this. *blink*
-
I wanna know just what kinds of BS we'll be able to do if j.2C fatal stays. Thats a pretty hilarious change if you ask me. Air Tsunugui shenanigans are gonna rock too.

Mu j.2C fatal. lol wtf. These first changes are freaking hilarious. -
I wouldn't care *knocks on wood* if they nerfed her into CS1 Rachel tier, I'd still play her. She just plain clicks with me like no other character in the roster. I have no clue what I'll do if she's gone in BB3. D: And yeah, I like the idea of the Haba charge to work more like SoD. Holding it in for a set amount of time. I mean, being able to hold it indefinitely would be broke as fuck lol. I also like the idea that she'd possibly still be able to move around, and like...the stein maybe glows brighter as it reaches max level like SoD does, but you can release it early...just like the way SoD is. That would still be gdlk without being too OP.
-
j.B is a much better jump in if you feel the need to do so. It's hitbox is incredibly surprising, actually.
-
Even if she becomes top tier I'm sure she'll still be like Rachel. She's still not an easy character to understand on a basic level. People will get pissed off after getting trashed over and over cause they can't just push D to win with her like you could with Nu in CT. That being said I'ma hipster, I played her since CS1 yo. GTFO mah bitch you tier whores!

Bridget yes, (more on a superficial level, design wise...) but Millia no. The other characters that have been suggested to me in the past were Dizzy and Venom, more or less based on the fact that I play Mu in BB and like setups. Leaning towards Dizzy though since I'm not very fond of charge motions. Lunar has displayed interest in Ky, but is really unsure. Since she mains Tsu I told her she needs to main Order Sol for the lulz, but thats just me. Neither of us have any true experience in the game to know what characters would suit us.
