I can confirm playing vs PS3 players is UGH. At least that was the case 2 days ago, when PS4 version was patched. For some reasons I get a lot of hiccups vs them.

Well, too bad because IT IS ZATO SAMA~, not Eddie. I don't see anything wrong. It's the old Zato we used to love from GG1 and GGX (except, of course, lack of feelings and emotions).

I'm also relearning Zato, but so far I can advise you: -Be TOO patient. Getting some basic shit with him can be frustrating. -Learn to negative edge when summoning Eddie. It really sucks when you get the wrong attack (i.e. Mawaru insteado of Tobiru) because you forget Eddie only unleashes attacks when you release a button. -Don't summon Eddie "just because". Do it in situations where rival will be forced to block or try to reversal. -PRAISE ZATO SAMA~

I can definitely say I will not pay full price for this. I'll wait until the PS4 version gets a heavy price drop and then I'll buy. AKA the same thing that happened to CSEX (how long did it take to get a price drop? 2 or 3 months?)

Maybe the Hori Fighting Commander 4 (or something) is a good choice? I ordered one for a friend, and so far I can tell, the pad seems comfortable enough and it features 6 buttons on the front (Saturn style).

Try ordering the Hori V4 from Amiami. They still have the Silent Blue model for, 15000 yen, more or less. I suggest you to hurry and order it if you really want something to play GGXrd on PS4.

Actually the Vita port isn't an impossible idea, and if Arcsys sees monies there they may take the risk. The problem will be: game would have to get even more sacrifices than the PS3 version. Just look how lol MK9 (shitty models, decent backgrounds and effects) or UMVC3 (good models, SHIT effects and static backgrounds) are in Vita.

Hard to advise there, since the Dual Shock 4's digital pad is too rigid (IMO). In some cases I switch from pad to analog stick. Annoying, but better than nothing for now.

I can see this guy in the video cancelling Fafnir with IK activation. I've tried this with Ky, but haven't found an optimal way to do it (other than Dust -> run -> 6H). Any suggestions (in general for any char)?

I thought Selvaria and Akira were just manifestations of that weird entity, not the real chars themselves
