I personally don't mind about arcade mode (I'd rather train than use arcade while waiting for matches in Ranked lol) and I ignore how many MBs the story dialogues take in disk space, so only having the chars without all that is fine for me. Of course, some people will go salty and demand that shit in the game, even though they'd probably ignore it. But yeah, will this shitz be free or not?

Yes, it is. Also check your TV. I had problems with my timing because I had my PS3 configured in 1080p, causing a slight delayed control response (solved it by putting PS3 on 720p).
