Mashing, spamming, w/e. It distorts your focus, and you fall for sub par mix up. I generally find it easier to beat players with Ragna who IB or mash buttons during pressure.

Star, training mode is your friend. Record stuff and see how you can either punish it or get our of it. Find your best option and an alternative just in case. Like for instance I went into training with Hz vs litchis itsu. I can punish it with 3c, but it must be a dashing 3c, so on my poor days ill be getting raped for trying to punish it, alternative is to jump out in between hits and apply pressure. This is how you train, besides playing people.

Noel Drive mashers are pretty free. After a few matches vs me they either stop mashing or keep enjoying a combo movie.
