Setra won't be able to go to TSB tomorrow, no one else expressed interest, and crossfire hasn't said anything about it in a week sooooooooooo I'm going to assume no one else is down, TSB carpool canceled unless anyone speaks up

I'm down for mashing Friday, I'm probably going to TSB on saturday as well soooo I don't know about the crashing situation, tom's river is marginally closer to NYC than my house but there were other philly players who want to go to TSB who probably would not crash at your place so I'd probably not be staying whew, talk about a run-on sentence

random question, don't know if it's significant or not: Yuuto (TK) vs Hikaru (HK) this tao uses 236CC 5D~A ender like three times in this match, after each, he whiffs 5A, and then does some random thing (214D, empty jump grab, and a 2C, not necessarily in that order) I feel like I've seen this before from other players but don't quite remember, not sure if it's just this guy's idiosyncrasy but I'm curious if there's a setup I'm not seeing

you don't even need to do busted combos for her to be the most obnoxious character in the game by a long shot, any time the other character tries to play neutral you can just hit the D button and make them completely lose control of their character how cool is that this is, like everything else, vastly more annoying online, where movement is, like everything else, much harder to do man these koko rights activists and their persecution complexes :TA:

It's not 17 hours, it's only around 12, which is a heckuvalot more manageable. We made the drive 2 years ago, it took significantly longer than 17 hours though because my damn car broke down in the middle of nowhere North Carolina lol

I think this is a pretty insightful reply; every second spent playing/grinding games could be spent doing something else. These games take a substantial amount of time/mental energy to play at a reasonably competitive level and unless you really enjoy the effort (not just the payoff), you might as well spend your limited life in a way that's more satisfying to you. :ballAI:

if anyone has the means to get here setra will be mashing at my house tomorrow night not sure of times yet but it will be sometime after working hours and before normal human being bedtime hours anyone in the area is welcome to stop by but I think transportation/times might limit it a little :sad: AJ, Tigre, either of you around?

okay so I gave it some thought -- anyone who wants to play at my place tomorrow night is more than welcome to come over -- but because I am not going to be around saturday and because space is sort of limited when my folks are around, it does not make sense for me to house a bunch of people overnight, because I pretty much have one small, not-so-comfortable room where a few people can crash without inconveniencing the household and also I'm leaving saturday morning -- so if you live far away and you were thinking of going to my place and then gamejunkie that may not work I am just offering a place to play game for the night, which is lamer than my usual craziness so sorry nakadashineko, you are welcome to stay since I already said you could a week ago, tanto is always welcome, anyone else should probably find somewhere else to stay tbh edit: if you do wanna play, as early as five pm is fine to come. there will be at least one setup (mine) at that time and hopefully more (yours)

it's also worth noting that bbcp is a ONE DOLLAR tournament at TSB (yeah I know about NL entry fee but w/e) having gone to multiple tsb's there you will have plenty of people to play casuals with and plenty of time to do so and from a slightly more diverse player pool than you normally see at GJ just sayin' :TA:

yo I know peeps were looking to hold some sort of bbcp chode wrangle the saturday after the game drops, but I hear tell there is a TSBTFU happening that day at next level... it's been a while (i.e. aquapazza release) since we had a full-on philly caravan to next level and I think it would be a lot of fun, the last one was pretty rad minus the $1800 freshly-killed sea bass and picturegate, and since a new game is dropping basically two days before it sounds like a good excuse to me to round up some heads for a trip if we packed a car with five people travel costs would be super light, I think it's an idea definitely worth a ponder :TA:
