They were gauging interest in BB for the next tournament, so if you really want to play some extend against people you should show up and support your scene, since BB scene has basically killed itself anyways. I go to the tournaments at Romine's if I am able to make it, so I'll play if you guys show up there.

Yo, yeah we don't really have much of a scene in this state sadly. We have a few players in Madison, but nobody other than myself really wants to main BB, everyone either wants to play Marvel or Smash or maybe SF. You're free to come over some time for some games, but it looks like it will be around an hour and a half or more drive. If you want to make the drive I'll play and give you some pointers etc. Otherwise I'll be up for netplay. Well, are you going to Frosty Faustings? It's being held in a couple of weeks and will likely have the largest (read: maybe more than 8) turnout a BB tournament around here has had since Chicago Heart (which had 16 I think). I have a copy of Extend, and will be bringing a setup for that. There's a poll on which version to run, last I checked Extend seemed like it was winning.

I'll have EX. If we're not running that I'll also bring CS2

Sorry, but yeah this weekend won't work. I'm going to be in Green Bay playing UMVC3 on friday/saturday. Wasn't planning on that happening, it just did. I'll be working on Sunday probably. Next week sometime will work, sorry for having to work around my schedule =/

I'm sure I'll have time next weekend. Maybe Friday or Sunday, don't know yet. I'm busy this week also; I'm going to Minneapolis midweek. Normally I don't travel this much, but after this I won't be travelling again until Spring probably! Except tournaments and maybe vacation.

I'll be back in town late tomorrow night, might (?) have some time this week. I'll be jet-lagged from timezone differences + DST, so wednesday is probably a bust also, thursday is an awkward day to do anything. I might be up for games friday, or I might just want to relax. I don't know yet. Business travel for a week is pretty tiring. There's a tournament on Sunday in Milwaukee that I'm probably going to. I'm bringing a BB setup even though people there don't play, and there might be BB players from MI coming. Also the first post in this thread should say to check the shoryuken thread for WI, it's much more active than this. Unfortunately hardly anyone that posts there plays BB, so there's that too =/. People around here only play Capcom fighters really.

GGs everyone I played yesterday (I was the pink tsubaki player that kept dropping his midscreen combos and only did okay because of lol 4.5-5k UB combos), I had a lot of fun, even if I didn't say much! I wish we had a scene like yours, I've been trying to get people to play BB with some mixed success, but only have like 3-4 players other than myself, and I'm the only one that plays it as their main game. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to drop by GC again, it's a pretty awesome place.

Sounds good. I should be able to make it to Gamecenter Thursday night or Friday (or both), and then definitely Saturday for NCI. I've never been to NorCal, so I might spend some time looking around or something. Or I might just play games. I'm also going to be in Seattle the beginning of the week after, but I have to leave before NWM... which is pretty unfortunate =/

And yeah, Fairfield looks like it's too far away, since I don't drive. I don't know anything about the area, but if there is a way to get from SF on rail or something then I can try to make it. Yo, I'm gonna be in Palo Alto for work this upcoming week, and will be in the Bay area basically on vacation for like Friday - Sunday. I'm planning on showing up for NCI since I'll be there, and was wondering if there's anything going on Friday for BB/MVC3? Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to going somewhere where people actually play BB, at least from what it looks like. Wisconsin has like 2-3 players other than myself, and none of them want to play it as much as I do.

Sweet, I'm gonna be in NorCal for work the beginning of next month, and I'll be able to go to the next NCI. I'm pretty hype for leaving the midwest to find people to play against. I'm also considering going to SoCal regionals in December, that sounds like it would be pretty awesome. I need to start playing more so I don't just embarrass myself =X

This thread is the best. At least we have 3 BB players in Madison, and 1-2 other players that are willing to learn! Not enough people play sadlife games in the Midwest.

Yep, I replied in the MI thread earlier. Yo WI, we really need to actually uhh get a scene here? Madison has a small number of players in anything, and we all want to play different games =/ I guess I'll ask this here too / talk to a nonexistant scene: Anybody going to Seasons Beatings this year? I'll just post here periodically to see if anyone's going to the tournaments I'm going. Maybe if this stays on the first page of the thread list for more than a few days any potential new players will see it and say something.

You guys should post on SRK. That's basically how I found offline competition. Kinda. It was actually homingcancel, but almost all of the WI scene posts on SRK. And I've played like 20 matches of online MvC3 since day one. It's terrible, it's almost better to not play online. Regardless, there's at least one other person that would play BB if more people played offline. If anyone wants/is able to to venture to Madison some random weekend that a tourney's not on we can get some casuals in. I only have one setup but since there's only like 2 people other than me that post on this thread every now and then that shouldn't matter.

Yeah, I hear ya. I love BB, GG, and basically any fighter (other than SF-style), but none of the SRK scene plays BB. And so I basically play MvC3 because it has Zero, and AH3 because it's a good game. It's kind of surprising that Milwaukee has a good number of Arcana players, but I don't get the chance to play them very often since they have game nights on Tuesday nights, which is impossible for me to make. Hopefully a few people will pick up CS2, but I don't really think that's gonna happen =/. East coast had a lot more BB/GG/Melty/etc players than midwest.

Man, my posts in this thread were depressing to go back and read. Regardless, anyone going to UFGT? I'm entering AH3, MvC3, and mystery game. I'd enter BB but I haven't played it in like half a year because the midwest doesn't play this game. I'm thinking about entering anyways and trolling with Tager. Oh wait, he's trash. I'll play casuals anyways if anyone's going.
