So is there a wiki or a general site for data/combos? Or do I have to comb the threads? -

evilragnarok replied to MechaMacGyver's topic in West Coast
They removed the other games due to licensing issues. Only time will tell if they will get them back -
Sept. 19, 2014 – Irvine, Calif. – Peter the Anteater and the rest of the Fighting Gamers at UC Irvine will get a chance to put their fightsticks to the test and Sho their stuff on Saturday, Sept. 27 when ATLUS brings the upcoming fighting game, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, to the UCI Student Center before its release. The event is free, and will be open to the public from 2-11 p.m., and will have open stations for gamers to try out the game, with the returning cast, 6 brand new in-game characters, and even DLC characters. There will be raffle drawings at 6 p.m., with many prizes to win, including a Mad Catz P4U2 FightStick Tournament Edition 2 (PS3 and PS4 compatible)signed by renowned ATLUS character designer, Shigenori Soejima. A P4AU tournament will begin immediately following the raffle. ATLUS will also bring demos for Persona Q, the upcoming dungeon crawling RPG that mixes the casts of Persona 3 and Persona 4 in a first-person dungeon crawling adventure in the style of the cult RPG series, Etrian Odyssey. Persona Q has a brand new art style, story, and delves more into the back stories of the cast members. The event will be held at the Balboa Island A, located on the 4th floor of the Student Center. Elevators to the 4th floor are located between Pacific Ballroom C and D on the 1st floor. Parking in the Student Center Structure is $2/hr or $10 all day. [P4AU] Rise Kujikawa Gameplay Discussion
evilragnarok replied to RurouniLoneWolf's topic in Rise Kujikawa
She doesn't seem like a zone-y character to me. Doesn't feel like it. I feel like she should be applying pressure when she can using notes and if she's too far, she should be prepping for ways of getting back in and not staying out. -

[TBA] Rebel Up (GGXRD, DFC, P4AU, UNIEL, BBCP, SG) - Walnut, CA
evilragnarok replied to Alpha152's topic in Locals
First and foremost, I'd like to note that FG@UCI was completely unaware of this event. The only thing we were planning with Atlus was a possible pre-release event for P4AU at UCI. Nothing was set in stone. As far as a Rebel Up event at UCI, FG@UCI was never contacted with this idea. From what I know, whatever was being planned was being brainstormed and was going to be brought up to Super Arcade to see if it was permissible. This post jumped the gun and was made before any parties were contacted and confirmed with. My intentions were never to take away an event from Super Arcade. The idea for a pre-release event at UCI was to add on to existing events in Socal, not compete with them. While we are also a victim of the miscommunication of all these details, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to both Atlus and Super Arcade. We would never purposely cause trouble for either businesses and would only want to work with them to bring events to the fighting game community. Fighting Gamers @ UCI -
Thanks. It does get rid of the sound but it also gets rid of inputs. Guess I gotta just live with it

Anyone know if you can turn off the stupid beeping sounds when you press a button in challenge mode?

Popping in to check out the thread. Sorry for the whack schedule. You can direct questions and suggestions to me if you'd like, since Jeff is in Japan. Will you guys be providing your own stream? -
Ooh, a PC version. I will pick this up. Played it in the arcades and enjoyed it. I hope people will play
-
I'm not very good at the game, but I'm always down to play GG. Its a game I'd like to get better in, but opponents are always scarce. If you guys dropped by, I would definitely kick people off my station just to set it up, lol. I'll prolly have Chaos Code up for a bit this upcoming session, then switch it out to GG.
-
Hello all, Saw SuperFX's post so I'd thought I'd drop a line. Everyone is welcome by to FG@UCI Fighting Gamers @ UCI Unfortunately, competition for these fighters have waned over time, although people still claim to want to play and have interest. I try to put up a GG setup almost every week, but I'm pretty much just in training mode. P4A interest has declined and the people that want to play never show up. A friend and I have gotten Chaos Code, but no one has even heard of it. I'm always willing to put a station up if people are willing to play. But the problem it seems is not setups, its competition. So you're welcome to drop by but I cannot guarantee you the competition. Usually people will check out our event page every week to get a headcount of who wants to play what game and gauge interest. If you have any questions or suggestions, drop me a msg here or on fb.
