  1. So what you're saying is that I should do the follow up for the HF instead of wasting 50% heat to RC and continue the combo? Bear in mind that I'm doing the HF because I'm out of range for 3C or 5D.
  2. I'm sorry for the confusion. This is what I meant: 5B, 5C, 2C, HF(1) RC... 5B (CH), 5C, 2C, HF (1) RC... I was under the impression CH on the start of a combo would give you more untechable frames so you could do things like 5D loop, that's why I asked.
  3. What's a good follow up for this: 5B, 5C, 2D, HF(1) RC ...? And what if 5B hits as counter hit?
  4. StarryShade what's djc? Double Jump Cancel? Can't I just jc? Meaning, J.C, 8C, BE?
  5. What's the deal with BE combos? Some videos/guides show combos with jc and some with hjc. Do I need to always hjc, is it combo specific, can I change my combo if I mess the hjc and get a jc instead? Also, when I do a combo that involves J.CD, jc J.C, BE can I always substitute the 2nd J.C with J.D?
  6. FlyingVe is that what happened here? Combo @ 0:32: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbIEJOmYh1c He uses J.B after the 5D DC because he hit his opp with the 6A while he was airborn?
  7. Ok. And if I do 6A (JC not HJC), J.C (JC), J.C, BE will it work? Regarding J.B in combos I get what you're saing but I've seen very good players using it. Mainly replacing the 6A (after a 5D for example) with the J.B and maybe in this scenario increases the damage. Maybe a FC or CH combo? Combo @ 0:32: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbIEJOmYh1c
  8. Thx KayEff. I've never seen it wrote like that. Cheers Edit: Why is there some combos with 6A (HJC), J.C (JC), J.C, BE, some with 6A (HJC), J.C, J.D (JC), J.C, BE and even some with 6A (HJC), J.C, J.D (JC), J.D, BE? Can I always go for (HJC) J.C, J.D (JC) J.D, BE? If yes: Why do some people do J.C (JC) J.C? If not: Why can't I? Also, how about using J.B, J.C (JC), J.C, BE? I often see people do this aswell.
  9. TITANIUM what's HJC hj.C? What does the hj.C stands for?
  10. Thx again VR-Raiden. Just one thing though. Is it possible to do a double BE in that combo? And how can I know what combos can be double BE'ed and the ones that can't? Without memorising them I mean; is there a rule or something?
  11. So I've been working on some combos and I need some help. I'm trying this in the corner: 5B, 5C, 5D, dc 6A, HJC.C, j.D, BE, 6DD, JC.C, BE, 5D, D.ID. What's the best way to input the HJC and the JC? I'm doing 39 for the HJC then holding 3 again during the J.C, J.D, then I do 9C to JC again and go from 9 to 4 for the BE. Another problem is connecting the J.C after the 6DD. I do 6DD (I press D D twice almost together) and then 9C for the JC and roll back to 4 for the BE. Should I press 9C right after the 2nd D hits or should I delay it? Because most of the times J.C whiffs. Can someone break this apart and tell me the best way to do this? Because I'm worried that I might end with some bad habits. Now some more simple stuff that I haven't fully understood. - What's 6D whiff D and what is it for? - Do I need to be point blank to do 5B, 5C, 5D, dc 6A? Sometimes 6A doesn't connect and I want to know if I'm messing the link or not? - Is 623C, 236C, delayed 236C, 5B, 6A char specific? I have problems connecting the 5B, 6A and even the 6A without the 5B. I try to delay the last 236C as much as possible and I know it must be done midscreen.
  12. Ok. Thx Ladon
  13. I need help understanding a concept. Take these 2 combos: 1. (not in corner) 623C -> 236C -> delay 236C, (dash) 5B, 6A (HJC), j.C, j.D (JC), j.C, j.214C, 6B 2. 5B+C, 214B -> delay 214D, dash 5B, 6A (HJC), j.D (JC), j.D, j.214C, 5D (1st hit), 214A -> 214D Damage: 3029, Difficulty: ** On the 1st one the (dash) means the dash may be optional correct? But on the 2nd one I know that you can connect 5B after 214B -> delay 214D without dashing, so what does this dash means?
  14. Thx VR-Raiden. What should I retain from this frame data? I ask this because since cancel normals into each other what's importante about frame data? Is it the Untechable Frames?
  15. Where can I find which normals can cancel into another? And some guide to read the frame data?
