Can someone explain to me what exactly makes someone "entitled"? is it just someone who is capable of using Ars Magus? In which case Rags was never good at that so it would make sense that he wasn't one of the chosen. And the reason Ragna is there is thanks to "that child". I wonder who Amane's is talking about, I kind of want to say the girl in the fairy tale. Or Nine, Amane seems like the type who would call someone like Nine a child.

I think it has more to do that we in the west can't read the light novels so Naoto seems like he came out of nowhere and just gave Ragna the middle finger. Of course we know of Blood Edge Experience, but only the things that Zedar has kindly been able to provide us. Still we're barely getting info of the beginning so it's probably a bit too premature to jump to conclusions on Naoto's overall spotlight. I have no problem with him as a character and am quite interested in his role in all of this but I can see where the person is coming from. This is Ragna's last game (supposedly) and they want him to be right in the center, having all the important scenes with all the important characters. Anyway, seems like Kokonoe is fighting against Kagura now? What?!

I love how the first act seems to be about all the characters desires. So I think we can all agree that Naoto and Ragna do have some connection to one another. Rachel mistaking Naoto for Ragna, Nu sensing Ragna but finding Naoto instead. However I do notice that Naoto has some black beast like attacks so maybe that's what their sensing.

So Nine's apparent goal is to kill Izanami because it would create the world Celica desires. Cant wait for Ragna, Jin, and Noel's arcade arcs.

Yeah pretty much Amane's Astral done on Nine.

So in the trailer there is a quick still of Naoto fighting against Nu-13. And it kind of seems like Nu is pretty beat up I'm not aware if Naoto had that chest Tattoo in BloodEdge Experience or if that's something new. Whatever the case the game is making damn sure that we know he has one.

Yeah that would pretty much make the most sense given the situation Ragna finds himself.

I'm interested in the "memory carved in the soul" bit. Could be the connection that Naoto and Ragna might have to one another.

Wasn't the "God only knows whose soul this actually is!" line sort of mistranslated? Not too sure but I don't think he says that in the Japanese version. I believe he just acknowledges that he's artificially created. Again not too sure.

^ Yeah pretty much this, I always assumed she was thinking of Ragna when she was looking at Naoto. What happens to him is pretty much a mirror image of what happens to Ragna. And we all know that deep down inside Rachel has a soft spot for old Rags. What I want to know is if "Raquel" is truly Rachel or some other being separate from her.

Cant even remember what Jam even adds to the overall story. As far as I remember she was just comic relief.

Probably a brand new MC that hasn't been shown in the BB universe yet. Someone who is unrelated to any of the events so far, I really wouldn't want it to be any of the current cast of characters. In fact I don't want any of the current characters to even be in BB5. I want a completely new story with brand new characters XP It just wouldn't feel right if the story moved on without Ragna ._.

I find that Jack O dislikes the concepts related to science interesting. If she is a part of Aria then It could be because Sol was way too into science and wasn't paying enough attention to her like in his flashbacks in Xrd. Or maybe it's cause she's like a new born and hates thinking about difficult things, I prefer the former.

You could say the same for Ragna. He had his own revelation of coming to terms with himself. If anything I feel his was more impactful while Tsubaki's was more blind loyalty to Jin.

Rachel has her own agenda which unfortunately demands Ragna be thrown under the bus in order to achieve it.

Even if she knew I doubt she'd care at this point. Jin wants him dead and that's all she needs to know. But I agree with you, it always bothered me how much crap she gives Ragna when everything she blames him for has no merit whatsoever.
