  1. to clarify I used "block indefinitely" as an exaggeration of holding block for quite a while/ thanks for the reply guys much appreciated. I found out what the issue is. I was trying grab a hit after the throw break. And thus iIwas pushing forward. It put me right into her wings after the break. So now i just hold back when fighting him. and breaking the throw is easier now As for the D charge-blockstring-of-looping-death. Now I just block it all. I can stop him from charging his bar which helps a ton and just keep him moving. His footsies are really good. Thanks again.
  2. i don;t really care how old this thread is. I know EX will be out soon as well. but, currently, my friend is playing tsubaki. and it seems he can pretty much grab me out of the air while I'm doing j.C. not only that if I throw break he uses the C version of wings and dives. It has beat my j.D and j.B. I'm just at a loss of what to do at these air throw breaks other than just block indefinitely. Lastly, Im getting caught really bad in the charge D move at the end of Tsubaki's blockstring. He can space right and just continue his block string from the other side. I know it won;t matter in a few weeks but id sure liek to know how to get through this. I think I hit a wall currently against him with this character.
  3. Call me a Baddie or a scrub or w.e but my friend and I play a lot together. So much that we can fairly accurately guess what the other might likely do. But the hardest part in this fight is tsubaki's speed vs how fast your swords come out. She can out pace the crescent getting in your dead zone and beat you air swords with clever jump back dash ins. This is what is really threatening. The speed And getting in your grill will be your undoing in this match. DO NOT whiff a single sword or your going to have a load of damage. If you block the shield charge you can get a gravity well off for some nice damage follow up. Keep the pressure up other wise you might be eating a combo. That's just my 2 cents.
  4. Oh yeah it's the feint. You can't combo afterthe ender, not from what I can tell at least. It seems the feint recombo just requires really tight execution. That is what I'm really having trouble with and also when to do it. I heard that you can do it arou d the 9th hit because otherwise the proration eats the combo up.
  5. So iwas a really big haz player but I have really taken a liking to lambda. I have a question about her crescent and canceling it. For some reason I couldn't find the info I needed. When doing the j.dd > j.2dd> is it possible to crescent cancel and then go back to j.2dd>j.dd> 214d? I have seen vids of people doing some seriously long Air combos. I guess my next question is how I can hit that cancel if it's possible. I have tried to do this from the crescent cancel to get to j.2dd or even j.dd but I just can't seem to get it to link. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Okay, so I'm not amazing at his game and I have been playing for about a month. I'm running into to trouble getting caught in the corner. I hold back to block and even hitting the barrier to push back. But characters like RAWRGna just keeps it coming. Teching out just gets me caught and staying down gets me combo'd. I have read IB + jayoku can reversal but how do I learn that? How do I stop the corner pressure?
