Oh you meant mid combo. I thought you might have made a mistake but it turns out it was me! Yea that one is legit, I use that one on ocassions. That once would fall into dropping combos into unblockables. I will integrate both of those setups into the information in the first post.

Wouldn't it be better to do the 236C > Unblockable setup instead? The 214C(w) > unblockable gives your opponent much more time to react than the one I listed. Though, your setup would fall in Bat's category where you could release it early and score a CH. I wouldn't say so, because j.214A's untechable time isn't that huge for you to be in a good position to land an unblockable, you'd also have to dash to your opponent. This will be different if you RC the dive into the unblockable however. Or am I just getting these points wrong again and I'm missing something? Haha

Hmmm.... I can wholeheartedly accept this. Off eye view, I wouldn't make Tager gain heat so quickly, but that's about it really. I remember someone saying that they wouldn't be surprised if j.2C had repeat proration, but hey, this isn't the Tager thread, lol. What I like about Tsubaki is the fact that stock allows her to really mixup her combos and accelerate her damage. That will always be there, and so I will always keep Tsubaki close to my heart. On a side note, what about her getting in options? Remember that 236C/D are unsafe now. Would anyone make any adjustments to that?

Oh fairplay there Daedron haha. I also forgot to ask. Daedron, if Tsubaki has a new overhead that requires stock, is she going to have an A,B and C version just like the others? If so, what would be the significance of those? I don't believe they should be overheads though. 6A is not that good at all. It's extremely reactable (by 5B poke or even a throw), as it's slow. and so she doesn't really have a decent high/low game. She can cancel into 5C which I'll give her that, it being fast, but even then, she's limited in what she can do, depending on the situation. On hit, with at least one stock, it does go into decent damage however. It fatals though, which is a plus I guess. I really like this idea, and for the reasons you've given too. She will then have a sufficient way of using heat to gain stock much quicker. Lol @ Below post.

This sounds, pretty cool. However, what's the effect on normal hit? Does it ground aerial opponents? Does it force crouch? If so, I can see her having better oki options. This would also add to another unblockable setup. It's funny how this would look like the animation of 214D. Dudes would just be complaining more that she has too many moves that look alike. First the 6A/6B similarity, now this, haha. What I liked about CS1 was that we weren't limited in gaining a certain amount. She's in CH state after all, I think we should have the control as to how long we should charge for. Then again, they will need to reduce the charge speed. Interesting thoughts you guys have got going on here.

People may have dropped Tsubaki because she requires more work than before, but the explanations to that can be seen throughout the previous pages in this thread. On a side note, j.BB combos are used more frequently in CSE. Any of you guys remember this? You know the drill.

If you're more daring you can even 6A the 6C, and then you guys can do that crazy ass corner carry combo if you have the wind for it! That requires you to be fast though, and if it's used in a blockstring, it probably requires an IB beforehand.
