This week's Wacky Fun tournament is going to be BlazBlue, and in it you will get to select your opponent's character! Will you choose to fight their main, or make them play a character you know they're bad at? Be careful, because your opponent will also get to pick what character you play as. Will it be an honorable duel between your mains, or a horrible bad match that ends in a timeout because nobody knows what they're doing? It's up to the players! The loser of each match may force the winner to change characters if they want to. It will also be single elimination for time's sake. The standard $2 Persona tournament will be returning this week too, and if people want to we can play Battle Fantasia too but I'm not going to run that one. I am definitely going to enter, though (assuming it's for free).

Shoutouts to Battle Fantasia, I might have to pick that back up. I also saw a LOT of new faces this week, and that makes me happy. Shoutouts also to returning people leveling up, too! There are actually two surprise dumb games, neither of them are sailor moon, and one is topical.

Here's the deal on Superarcade this weekend for me: I have a friend visiting from outside of the country so I'm not going this weekend either. I don't get many chances to see this person so I figure I better take it rather than go to super arcade for a game I only half play. I do like hanging out with the socal people at super, but I'll have to wait until next time. And here's the reminder about Friday for people that don't look at Facebook: Normal casuals. Tournament is still $2 per player, but this week it's a team tournament, so it's 2v2, pokemon style. I think the winnings should just be 100% to the winning team, split between the two players. Gimmick tournament is also a 2 person team tournament, but one person controls the stick/movement, and the other controls the buttons. It will be silly as heck. I'm also bringing a really dumb game to play casuals on. It's a surprise.

Usually there's at least one stick just laying around unused. You just have to ask whoever it belongs to. Usually people are okay with it! I still can't make this one but next time. Sorry!

Hit me up whenever, I'm back from Vegas now. also if you paid money to the indiegogo for skullgirls, they started taking votes for the 3rd DLC character. Let's get some more Skullguys all up ins. also also, good post B-Rai. I want to emphasize 3 and 4 there. Definitely ask questions about stuff that's beating you up, and try to not get discouraged, and most of all have fun!

That's a silly tournament but I'm down.

They aren't having one this weekend, but even if they were I'd be gone Saturday too. I'll be going next weekend though!

Thanks to everyone that entered Persona 4 Arena and Arcana Heart 3! And thanks to Haki for coming to hang out a little while, that was a cool surprise. Here's the final brackets for those: Persona, AH3 I'm glad so many people checked out AH3, I really want more people to play that game. It's fun! also, is anyone good at video editing? me and Tsuki were talking about making some videos to promote our stuff. word of mouth is always appreciated too, so keep coming out and bringing friends. We want to have consistent numbers for the tournaments. We also discussed running another tournament on Fridays, probably BB, but at an earlier time than we usually do (8-8:30). But that won't be happening this week, as Tsuki, Ryan, and I are all going to be gone. But think about it and let us know what you think before NEXT week. Also, keep the ideas coming for more fun things to run and get people interested. I'm a little wary of playing mario party or brawl because they will take forever...

We're open at SDFGC, running persona casuals from now until 7PM when the tournament starts. Come hang out.

Maybe I'll learn Akihiko hahaha. I'm trying to think of our matchup spread... mitsuru, yosuke, narukami, labrys, elizabeth, kanji, chie, naoto and donnie plays yukiko. So we could use a shadow labrys, teddie, aegis/aigis, or akihiko. Glad to hear you're happy with how things are B-Rai but you're right, we need to keep stepping up! See you tonight, donutholes!
