  1. take solace in the fact that the tsubaki matchup is in Valk's Favor.
  2. 2C can do absolutely NOTHING against his jC. 5b whiff's wolf form valk has great mixup game he can and WILL break your guard primers with ease. only use 2d to charge unless you've knocked him away, he can preasure in a similar manner to tao. your 2c can beat out any move he does to dash in while in wolf form. his anti air isnt that great, use that to your advantage. 22d unblock able reset will probably get stopped by 5b
  3. yea, makoto is pretty piss poor at what she is supposed to be doing. her block strings arent even that good since the removal of the parry loop. sure she can bait a reversal or 5/2a spam and parry it, but she's just an empty shell of a rushdown character. i wish we could get a video of a decent valk VS lambda or Mu, i want to see how he fairs in that match-up.
  4. well he does seem to have A.B.A.'s Reach and and ability to just knock people back. he definitely stands out among the BB cast
  5. i cant say first hand, it has some invicibility but not enough to be considered a good reversal super. dont forget it uses all your charges and doesnt even deal more damage than the C version unless you have 3+ charges. worst case scenario is that you both hit each other and he gets strangely stuck in the air for a few seconds.
  6. if she goes for the 22d unblocable reset, mash one out of your own.
  7. i'd say block and watch out for mixup, but anticipate a throw just in case. he will probably attempt to resume pressure.
  8. ive had 2c catch her drive attacks a few times, its very stiff timing. cant seem to land j214x after B+C > 214B hjc jb> jc> dj jc > jcc > j236a > j214c on her unless we're in the corner. (forgive me if i got the notations wrong for high jump cancel and doulbe jump) i also caught her rushing in with her (charge) 2->8d with a 22d a few times. it didnt lead well into the usual 6c >6cc aircombo just because of how she landed, but i was able to dash in and 2c > 2cc her into an aircombo. best deal with her is use your spacing bread and butters, she will ALWAYS come to you, so take some time to build your install. use 2D to charge, occasional jd. use 5d if you for some reason hit her away with a random j214d and she's now sliding across the floor. your j214d with usually beat her drive moves, can lead to heavy(term used loosely with tsubaki) damage on her in the corner with 2 - 3 charges. this matchup should be approached with caution, but its not unbeatable.

  12. 6b, 6bb, 6c, 6cc, 2c, 2cc atleast in my experience anyway. there is just no followup to any of those that are safe on block without RC
  13. 5cc has a much longer reach than 5c, its really sad.
  14. heartnana, that is the truest thing in this thread personally im a little upset after having to relearn litchi from CT to CS, and having to do it again in CS2, but ill live with it.
