Probably should have used that meter to CA out of the corner pressure, since it was the corner "mixup" that got you in round 2. The burst was pretty uncalled for considering with his life you would need 1 LONG haida combo or 1 reset combo. You could have easily taken Round 5. Problem there was hitconfirms, you have lots of opportunities and most of them were missed. Shame you couldn't really use the meter in that round. Overall: Make less use of 6c. The hitbox is a lot easier to connect when Bang is flying around but its so unsafe on whiff. Taking the purple throw/throw tech in a normal string is definitely more advised if you do manage to land a blocked 6c (ie. throw cancel). More 6a would be nice? Has better invul than 6c and safer on whiff if you cancel into 2b? But what do I know...

The SE stick is gawdawful. I'm pretty sure ronin can vouch for me on this one. Highly recommended you just replace it off the bat. Occasionally you can find the SE's for $30 online (when they are not out of stock)

Well its based on host's schedule, typically one/two friday/saturday go down, but there have been times with no meetups before. There's not really a set-in-stone kinda schedule, hence the referral to post 1 (sorry if that sounded dik-ish) which shows upcoming events

Man people popping up all over the place these days, very cool. So I'm sure mightfo will get to you but since hes being idle-chan and I'm a bored duck, I'll give you my welcomes. (not saying much because I'm a nobody derp) But yeah, you should come to meetups, I'm sure being a long time lurker, they are held once or twice every week or so at certain places (mightfo, jet, or frigids place). As far as a ride is concerned, I'm sure if your interested in coming some people can be heroes and pick you up. Playing with people is definitely a different experience than playing cheating comps all day. Definitely sounds like you have the motivation, so I'm pretty hype

As much as I love 2b...it hits so close to you that Tager can just herp derp command throw you out of it. 5b is pretty solid poke even if the reward isnt that great without 50 heat or a counterhit

Personally I feel Arakune's j.b is very strong against most (if not all of Noe'ls options). It is capable of stuffing 6a, 6c, and 2d clean. Granted Arakune is probably not getting much reward from it. Noel's 2d is probably the strongest tool in this matchup that arakune will need to watch out for. Though according the Noel vs. Arakune thread, 5d should beat that clean. Ground throw is particularly dangerous if you see Noel using that 2d a lot, since 2d usually beats throw clean. Just my 2 cents from Noel's perspective

Mayflash is one of those sticks in the cheap category. To get reasonable performance you will want to swap all the buttons out. Jet has a modded one so he probably knows more about it. @Meetup: Will see if I can go at all o.O, car broke down today. I r Sad duck

As far as arcade sticks are concerned, the options most people go with are: Buy a Madcatz TE (20% during EVO?) - no real need to part mod, only might consider dual mod, PS3 version doesnt play nice with x360 convertors you can get TEs at Fry's or order online Buy a HRAP online- pretty solid sticks, might want to switch out the buttons which isn't too hard/expensive Buy a Qanba - lol? Buy an SE/cheap arcade stick - switch out all the parts (joystick and buttons), cheap base stick but after mods is about as pricey as the rest. SE's are known for being stupid to mod
