Most annoying Match up for me personally as Valk. Since no one else is updating the matchups I'll do my research.

No Way Bang can do 3-5.5K sometimes 6k with a DD. And no even without IB you can pass right through Valk, especially with Bang. Nails are the biggest problem in this match up as Bang's pressure we can easily slip out of with Wolf Dash or IB and countering. Bang's 3C may come as a surprise and is very useful for when were landing in Wolf Form so be sure to stay on your toes. Bang's 236236D Distortion is his best equipment in this as we jump in with Wolf its a guaranteed slap in the face, so do be aware of how many Nails he has and how high his Distortion meter is. 2D is the most you'll be seeing from Bang if we use too much pressure so be sure to jump after wards as they like to do 2D into A and get a hit that they can combo into with j.A,j.B, 6236B which will lead into a wall bounce and a rinse. So do be careful. Never Stay in Wolf form longer than you need to, for Oki game 6C is the best you can throw or a 236C. Mix these up, once they used to one throw the other out there. Otherwise Valk has a great chance against Bang, Bang's advantages being his Drive and Nails.

Nah not at all, You'd think they give him something similar to Carl and Tager, but his back dash is no good. Even at the right range it doesnt have invincibility from what I tested.

This has got to be the most annoying match up for Valk outside of a Mirror Match and Litchi. 5C beats Haku's 4C. Hasn't failed me yet. Our Anti Airs are very VERY tricky to use on Haku, because of Ookami's long reach we either end up clashing and making it a + for Haku or missing and getting cut in the face and lead into a combo, so he can punish our Anti Airs which are 6A and 2C. With proper timing and positioning you can overcome this but sometimes its not enough, and jumping in the air isnt a good option as Haku's j.C is a pain in the ass to deal with. Counters are a pain in the ass but Wolf Form can help if he's expecting a w.236A Simply run close and w.A into 236D(Wolf Command grab) and dash in to close any gaps he could use to his advantage. ALWAYS Grab a counter happy Haku-Men. Don't be afraid to Air Dash in with Barrier Block to block that annoying 2C Anti Air of his and grab or do a 5B combo into Wold Command grab. It really closes that damage gap he can do with his annoying C Spam. If in the Corner grab and do the basic Challenge mode set up. If Haku men is ready to counter, 6C should put him in his place, Wolf Cancel and maximize the damage. in the air our j.C is easily countered and baited, so instead go for B into 214B and Wolf cancel into wj.AAA and 236D. If you see that he's gonna go for j.C block and go for 236C or 236A for pressure be sur eto throw in a grab for the counter happy Haku.

Faking D Move takes too many frames and they can easily get back on their Zoning game if they need to. Super Jumping and Wolf dashing is the best way to escape swords, its much easier to achieve compared to Mu's Lasers which she can constantly resupply while were in the air. Lambda has to wait and see where were going which we can easily change with a full Wolf Gauge. As for actual close game? Command grab in Wolf form makes it ideal to set her up for Oki. Damage is beautiful too.

Super Jump definitely helps in this match up. Also starting with 5C helps. No matter what Lambchops does outside of 44 Dash you can beat her out of it with it. Once you catch her with 6C Follow up with 236A or 236 B Best thing is if they catch onto that you can switch it up with 236C. a J.6D~C over those swords from the ground and Cancel with D and throwing jB helps too, you can toss her all over the place. Just keep pressure, dont let her get an opening. We have the mix ups to keep her on her toes.

The Ragna that Rachel bit? That would have to be the original Ragna. Bloodedge Ragna might probably be the first Ragna, getting stuck in the first Loop Takemakahara made.

In that case whose to say 10 Years ago Jin wasnt already practicing with Magic and all that stuff. After all they had Nine's sister as a guardian and ontop of that Ars Magus wasnt rare at the time. Ragna also seems to know quite a bit about Ars and stuff, although you could probably pin that to Rachel and Cat person

Not sure if I should post this here or not. But has anyone gotten a glitch during the intros of Valkenhayn and Carl? What will happen is Valkenhayn will Zoom across the screen in wolf form while Carl Talks to Nirvana, and Nirvana will begin to switch places from behind Carl to in front of him and the game will Lag (This is offline too) Anyway When the match starts, Nirvana will be in front of Carl. This made me lol because my friend and me were used to this match up and instead of just back dashing my start up C he let Nirvana take the blunt of the blow instead of Jumping away from 5C and ADing behind Nirvana. This has also happened to me in Ranked Matches. Thing is if you skip the intro it wont happen. Any thoughts on this?

Ah I see what you mean now just tested out a few things and yeah I can definitely agree with everything you just said Zong. We Ragnas do have our Advantages when it comes to Carl too. Yeah I can agree that its a even match up now. I realize now that its really he Mind Games that break it down. You Carls are a fiesty bunch lol A Sexy ass Dominican whose been playing since GGX

22C oki? Agree there. But Carl on a standard dishes out so much more than Ragna/ A good Ragna would dish out about what? 3.5k if he's good. 4k+ if Carl is horrible. A Good Carl should be getting 4k Easy on Ragna. I agree on defense, Ragna playing smart and making openings for CHs would be the best, but I feel Carl still has a bit of an edge. Carl’s average good enough to get by without using supers, but adding a super can add a bit of damage Ragna on the otherhand will need BE Loop into Super for that 3.5K + Atleast I do from time to time. I feel Carl has so much more at his disposal, he can easily overwhelm a Bad Raggy, and still give work to a good one. Being sandwiched between Nirvana and Carl is the last place you want to be, and its the best way for Carl to dominate. Atleast it isnt like in CT where it was death tagged onto your name lol Ragna does have a good jump in though, which Carl lacks, so I can see Raggy players getting a lead on Carl. I guess its safe to say its even but I still feel Carl should be given a higher score towards Raggy. Leading a Ragna into a Volante while hiding behind Nirvana is simply gruesome lol.

I wouldnt say in Ragna's favor not at all. I definitely feel Carl has more of an advantage against Raggy, but thats because The Carl's I know are beasts. I wouldn't say its even, but then again, it comes down to the players.

thats true I can see Saya doing something like that, although, whose to say its not something that comes natural to the owner of the Nox? Remember Bolverk popped out of nowhere for Noel when she was attacked in her childhood. Being able to summon them at will should be easy for them, especially since they arent kids anymore.
