Pretty much this. If you guys listen to more work Douglas has done, I think you'll find he can probably give Azrael a decent dub voice. And yeah it is possible he's doing some sort of NPC character or something. As for a replacement, man if I turn on the game and Relius suddenly has Douglas' voice I might die but Willingham already does a great job so I hope the Va's go back to how they were before extend changed it around.

Oh god no, his voice would not suit Amane at all, that would just be horrendous xD I remember Douglas did a voice for a create a character in soul calibur V and he sounded a lot more beastly than he does as someone like Wesker so I think Azrael is definitely a better choice. I imagine Amane with a voice like Kuja from Dissidia.

DC Douglas (voice actor for Wesker) posted on facebook that he was been booked for an anime fighting game, this could be Blazblue. If it is Blazblue, imma guess he'll be Azrael?

Their matchup is probably the same case of Long Range = Relius is better (even more so thanks to Lugia which gives Relius a long range tool without Ignis), Close range = Carl is better and middle range is pretty even all around. I really love how Val Tus will move to wherever the opponent is before doing the slashes rather than just do em and move a set distance, well worth the damage nerf it got.

Relius is looking pretty good this time. new combos look fun, like the zoning Geara Lugia gives you.

I do not think Jin should become a second Hakumen but there really is no need for the "NIIIIIISAAAAAAAN I WANT TO KILL YOU LETS KILL EACH OTHER" anymore other than sacraficing character development for fan service because Jin's attitude with Ragna gets fangirls wet. Jin still wanting to kill Ragna is fine and I expected that but some sort of change would be nice since he's supposed to have overcome Yuikianesa trying to drive him insane and Jubei is supposed to be training him. Also him showing concern for Tsubaki isn't really a change, he's always shown concern for her.

I think the costs for moves are exactly the same as Extend.

Relius seems way better in CP though, he was basically middle ground in Extend for me, not awful, not great he was just sorta good.

So from video footage I can tell that Geara Act + Geara Nose do not force teleport Ignis behind Relius anymore. Really good buff imo, makes them a lot faster.

It's not out of character for her to fight because she's proven she can fight and she will if she has to. She's decided shit's getting real and trying to use others to do her work for her like Tager and Lambda has failed so she has to get involved herself, don't see why people still insist Kokonoe can't be playable.

Infinite Gravity was just a spell for sealing the Black Beast away, she didn't use it on Relius :U She just used her magic to briefly control Nirvana to attack Relius.

Says who? says you? People have differing opinions, like I think X-Matic remix sounds better. The remixes are pretty different to the original in most cases, of course people are going to like one over the other, pretty stupid to think otherwise.
