of course you don´t freestyle your gameplan, i personally freestyle a lot of combos when i play casuals, just this weekend i had people i played against (and whom i play regularely) go "whoa, what was this combo, never saw that before!" f.e. j.Sj.Pj.S jc j.D 236P frc j.D 214K or midscreen launcher 2HS 236236HS 236K 236K(charged) wall loop and sometimes i just fucking waste my tension in one combo only to do like 20-30 points of dmg. more and get the combo count to 25+ that is my freestyle aspect of jam, and it´s incredebly fun, but it´s only recommended for casual play ...you can´t freestyle gameplay imo

this glitch is as old as guilty gear is ^^...but until now it could only be archieved with CPU set to "block everything" and you would make cpu guard a hit while in IK activation phase to make the pentagram stay on screen, and every further activation would make a transparent chipp duplicate, now with slashback it´s only a different way to activate the glitch... nice find anyways

yeah, of course it´s impractical, it´s just fucking flashy...and if it was possible to connect the last punshspam you could easily break the 200hit mark...i´m just thinking combovid right now... in matches you´re absolutely right iora...but to kill them you could go for it, the second punch super and detonation give you 100dmg.+ and another 50%tension....depens on your mood, the combo is not exactly easy

the punches don´t stop until you stop mashing, and being in det. mode let´s you do this untill you explode, otherwise you´d be overheating after 20 punches or so... soo....stormlocke, do you think it is possible to connect that last robodash -> charge for 50% 236236S before they are on the ground ?...i tried it for 1 hour on various chars and it seems that it can´t be done....could you take a look at it for me ?

parry ^^ you can get lucky with 2HS against j.H but i wouldn´t recomend it...against j.S it works when they are airdashing in...i think 6P also worked... all in all i don´t think the matchup is any hard...the factor that sucks the most that i can´t get any good combos in besides FBball until tension runs out HSpuff aircombo...sucks, she floats out of cornerloop like 80%

i don´t flame xzi, i give him all my respect ! he sure is a awesome player but this match was the worst performance i ever saw of cuongster...at this stage of the european scene it is 60% matchup exp. and 40% skill that determines the outcome of a battle ! i think you can clearly see that in the europe vs. sweden battle when ATG ends XZIs streak...comeon we´re talking about jam vs. chipp o_O ! ATG won becuz he knew the matchup VERY VERY good from our training sessions, and i guess XZI didn´t know chipp that well...that´s why i want that team event online so i can see for myself... i think it goes without saying that ALL the scenes outside of japan suck (even though i think europe clearly beats USA on all levels ^^), and i can only judge other jam players, that´s why the only name you see me write is xzi >_< ...i hope you understand... mike has been my favorite jam since #R, all you hype followers only recognised him after this years SBO, but he has been elite for years. his problem is that he lacks constancy, what leads to stupid losses and the impression of a suicide style...some people even called him scrub with too much luck because they wouldn´t understand, but when he gets serious (something you only see in tournaments) he is just a genius KA2 would be my #2, but since he (seemingly) retired, i can´t count him in...also i can´t tell anything about him you guys don´t know already LOX is also really brilliant, with a very unique style, i love his use of 214K, my momentary #2 i honestly think that kazu is only considered toptier due to his media presence...of course he is good, even crazy good in combos, but he cracks in tournaments and his style is overall a bit basic...maybe THE jam a beginner should study to understand how the character works there are more but they don´t have enough matchvids out to make some definitive statements also, one question to the thread starter, should we post OUR matches or should we just make a vid release list like in the video forum...because there we have all the vids...=/
