Just saw something weird: In that archived stream video ADS627 linked, in that match vs Bridget at 2:55:00, HOS did 2D, Bridget touched the ground, and then HOS did lv3 Savage Fang and it did alot of damage, i.e., OTG proration didn't affect it or something. Can someone please check, so that I can be sure that my eyes did not deceive me?

The beauty of the PSN/XBL release is that there is absolutely nothing that can stop one from getting it directly from the Japanese store, and there's no need to worry about lack of english story mode or whatever (since it's the exact same storymode as GGAC+). I'm gonna get it the moment it releases in the JP PSN store.

  11. I dunno, I don't like comeback mechanics. How it rewards a player for not playing right, doesn't seem right to me. The only "comeback" I like to see is when a guy has like a small sliver of health left and manages to turn the tide of the match and win it, through smart play. But if ArcSys must include it, I just hope they get it right the first time. P.S. I think the duration time increase differs from character to character, based on the reports of the first and second loketests, with some of the characters having more than a 5 second increase in duration at lower health.
  12. You're right, ODs themselves aren't strong enough tools to win you the round. BTW, I'm not calling ODs themselves comeback factors, I meant how ODs getting stronger the less health you have had a 'comeback mechanic' feel to it, it wasn't clear enough in my post (fixed it now). Makes it seem the game is rewarding you for losing.
  13. Please ArcSys, remove the 'comeback' aspect of overdrives: Make them last the same amount of time no matter how low your health is. Edit: Edited for more clarity.

  18. Ok, reading these last few posts I deduced one very important lesson: Never insult or say ignorant things about KOF (or SNK) in front of a mexican. They take it very seriously. Also, I agree with the implementation of an online training mode and very smart AI for Hell difficulty.
  19. Arghhh I wish the VAs didn't talk so much when Azrael's and Bullet's themes were playing, I want to listen to them properly.
