  1. With as much potential as this game has, I'm excited to see them giving balance/the system the attention it needs to make it less silly. Also, releasing it on any other platform would be wonderful candy, pretty much regardless of which route they end up taking for that. Melty had its problems, and it definitely had iterations that were beyond broken, but I was of the opinion they always came around in an update or two. Here's hoping UNiB follows suit.
  2. Well, he has an aerial dive that is unblockable, but it has a lot of start-up so its normally an non-issue. What makes the setup mean is that his EX orb locks you into block-stun so you can't avoid it and the normal orb he sets lets him pick up a full combo off of it.
  3. From the looks of it, they just made everyone and everything super powerful from the get go. Even the GRD freeze after a CS was added after several characters could infinite with multiple CS's constantly resetting hitstun scaling. They also nerfed CS's into only resetting hitstun scaling if you used it while having half the GRD gauge or more, but even though Chain Shift was one of the worst aggressors, it wasn't the only source of shenanigans. The list of things they can do is long, EXS gain cooldown (or they could freeze it after you use a Veil Off or IW in the same combo like with GRD and CS), notably increase hitstun scaling (my personal choice of what would be best, even though several characters would need moves reworked to support the shorter combo system), add a gravity mechanic similar to MBAACC's, add either a dedicated Burst mechanic/gauge or go take another page from Melty's book with Circuit Sparks (or EXS, GRD, GRD Vorpal-burning equivalents). This upcoming version update has a lot of potential, but we'll see how much they're willing to take back to the drawing board. For the record, the game doesn't need ALL of these things, but one or two of them certainly wouldn't hurt.
  4. Aside from the freeze to your GRD gauge after a Chain Shift, I don't think there is. One of the liberties that allow double Infinite Worth/Veil Off combos to be a thing. I could be wrong, but if it exists it definitely needs tweaked.

  6. What he means by contradictory is that if a console release hasn't been announced yet, then there has been no official or definitive statements about potential console exclusivity. So saying it doesn't have a release date, but then saying it will be a PS3 exclusive, is a contradiction. At the end of the day, its all magazine tags and speculation until someone from Arc says it isn't.
  7. That's her 623B, right? Her command list says it can be followed up by 22D when in heat up. I think I've seen it before, but the follow-up didn't do a lot of damage and didn't seem to lead to anything else. I think most Bullet's just opt to keep their Heat Up state for something else. I could be mistaken, though.
  8. And Noel's final boss is Mu 12 with the whole "I am Murakumo... the true self" thing going on.
  9. Trying to just mash A or B is borderline impossible to get max hits with, but if you mash the button you have mapped to A+B (assuming you have one mapped) its not super tough.
  10. Hey everyone, I'm new to the NYC scene (only moved out this way at the end of June) and I'm very much looking forward to having the chance to throw down with, and more than likely be bodied by, the lot of you in the relatively near future. I'll try and make my first appearance down at Next Level later this week, work permitting.
