Not upset this game isn't 2d. I'm upset because this game is pretty awful and was chosen to continue the franchise story. I enjoy a plethora of games ranging from GG to COD 4. I don't care what a game LOOKS like. I care for how they play. My concern is the (fighting) game would change drastically if made into a 3d version of itself and may even lose a lot of its style, flair, or "feel" if you would. Someone has said Arc is going to continue with the 2d fighters. I don't care if they make another GG game in mother fucking 4-d as long as they stay true to the fighters. I'm not saying a 3d fighter can't be good but GG is GG and I like it how it is. No thats a lie, I love it how it is.

I of understand and agree. Its all wishful thinking on my part. Its just disappointing that in order to continue the story we have to deal with... this. I'm not one to knock on anything without trying it but seriously. It looks pretty bad. The music sounds good, graphics look alright. (wtf is up with all the particle effects though? I'm like blinded in any boss type battle. Can't see shit captain.) But the game play looks soul numbing. It just hurts to see all those new people and... old ones like Raven and That Man make their debut in this instead of a traditional GG fighter. That said the pain would be made tolerable if in the next fighter installment it is still 2d. (With brand spanking new characters of course.Woo) I just feel it would lose a lot of... flavor in the translation from 2d to 3d. As so many games seem to do. Lets hope Daisuke doesn't go retarded for his Sol in 3d. (omg you gais saw dat?! I do karikinu VIPA~! in tree-D! Yeah turn dat camera around and look at mai ass!)

Disappointing. I want a new story mode for a 2d fighter GG..... think of what they could have made in the time it took them to make this... god damn they could have added all these new guys and old ones everyone wanted into a fighter. I guess the fighting scene doesn't bring in that much money to garner that kind of budget though, eh? Side note... they better not make the next GG fighter 3d. Like street fighter. fuckin' fail.

Weekend. If you read his blog its pretty easy to see. He travels A LOT and typically enjoys himself. To bad about the DF2 qualifiers. It would have been too much awesomeness to handle if you made it. Japs all over the area would explode in fevered rants and discussions on what such an omen forebodes. "gaijin in mai TOURNY!? NO WAI!"

Very cool stuff. Keep us informed. @_@ I lol'd hard at the "Final Fight: Kaqn" thing. I've always liked the guy but never knew he was THAT big over there.

Yes, Maruken is the nastiest Baiken I have seen in AC thus far. Though his SBO performance wasn't too impressive. All his exhibition matches are solid.

boss i-no is full of shit and you shouldn't get upset over losing to her... I have a hard time with her and have been playing gg a while, though not ac. Anyways, if im in the mood for arcade... when i get to i-no i tend to quit lol.... it doesnt help me improve at all. The AI in accent core is limited to reading your command input and reacting accordingly. So in other words, it "cheats". Sometimes you can get through or they wont react but thats because thats how they are programmed... so in essence, you must have a degree of luck to beat i-no... or just have her patterns laid out well in your mind. Or find some tactic that the AI is oblivious to. My advice is... don't bother. Boss i-no is good only for a head ache.

Mugen is looking beastly. I wanna see some recent Ruu fights though. Currently I'm liking Mugen more. Not saying he's better, just haven't seen anything from Ruu in a while.

Thank you. I was practicing some more yesterday and tried different things, this seems to be working best for me, I screw up and hit hs by mistake less. Just a matter of fully adjusting. (Such a bitch from using the ps2 default layout... I was actually GOOD with that layout lol.. but I wanna be able to play in an arcade should the opportunity arise) Once again thanks for the input.

Aye...... very very useful. Learned a few things there. Thanks a bunch for this, you have no idea how many noobs wished there was something as easily accessible as this around the boards.

I don't know if this is the right way to ask this... but its joystick related so here goes. I have a hrap II, and for the longest I was playing using ps2 default button controls, I didn't know this wasn't the arcade layout. so recently Ive been trying to adapt to the arcade button layout (the p, k, s, hs, d arc of death) and am having difficulty. My question is, how should I place my hand on the buttons? I know its all about personal preference and yadayada but, nothing feels right. Ive been using one finger on each button but have pinky difficulties. (It twitches when I use other fingers) So is there a commonly used way to place your hand? Sorry if this is the wrong place and I know its a stupid ass question but I had to ask... Thank you, in any event.
