  2. They also wear girl pants, style their hair weird, wear girly belts, toight black shirts, slit their wrists, write in diaries, don't jump at shows. If you want a good example of emo, then go to Alice, TX jajajajajajajajajaja
  3. wtf it's actually cheaper to get to Shreevpoop from San Antonio AND it's like 9-11 hours o_O MAKES NO SENSE!! ok, new plan then. Leave January 31st to Shreevpoop, I guess stay at soommmeeone's place *coughDoomskytherIguesscough* and head down to New Orleans whenever. Problem being! If I do this, I'll have to be back in Shreevpoop on Sunday (probably early afternoon I dunno) because I have class on Monday. Unless I just ask my professor what it is we'll be covering and just make up for it or what not. All in all my main obstacle is class on Monday and being there in time for it. plan ビ desu is that I leave January 31st to Austin. Stay there and leave with Darren's faulty defense to Shreevpoop from there, then take bus back to Austin from Shreevpoop and then back to shitty San Antonio. My only concern is wondering if this route will be more pricey since I think I'll have to buy 2 round trip tickets. 1 for SA - Austin and back and another for Austin - Shreevpoop and back. But it does seem to be cheaper to go straight to Shreevpoop instead of New Orleans directly. EDIT: Ok, another plan is that I just go straight from SA to Shreevpoop, and then go back to Austin with Darren's faulty defense and just go back to SA from Austin prolly the next day since it's really cheap. So Darren, if you got your tickets already, lemme know what time you're heading back to Austin from Shreevpoop. LEMME KNOW!! >O
  4. Thanks a lot! :D
  5. That doesn't seem to bad actually... If I can find a way to Austin, I wouldn't mind goin' on the same bus as you because that way I won't be stuck in Houston by myself. Traveling solo at a Greyhound station is NOT fun. You can meet some weird people by Greyhound
  6. True. And there will be a transfer in Houston (which I'm NOT looking forward to) It's not just about the tournament. It's the people and the places. True, it's fucking pricey as hell. But I'm not going JUST to play games. I've been wanting to visit New Orleans for a long ass time and I love traveling. And during Mardi Gras weekend? Upgrade right there. It's the experience that makes the time and cost of the trip worthwhile. But if I can find a cheaper way to get there, then hell yeah fuck Greyhound. d(^_^)
  7. Well problem with that is the fact it takes like 10-11 hours to get from San Antonio to New Orleans on Greyhound (bus, not the dog lawl) and since Shreevpoop is further North than New Orleans I'm sure it would be a longer trip........ >_> and prolly more expensive. Round trip from SA to NO is like $110-$200 dorrah :B
  8. omg maybe we should take the bus tooogeeetthheeerrrr... no homo
  9. Why am I playing this character again? lol Even though I know I'm garbage with this character, she's still fun to play. And I prefer playing her over Ky. As a matter of fact... I can hardly even play Ky anymore ever since I've been playing Millia over and over again. learning her character specifics can be a pain, but it's not so bad. Sometimes I'll just go into training mode and pick the dummy on random. Usually it'll be a character I don't play against a lot, or a character that I know I need work on combo-ing. All in all, yeah I'm really enjoying Millia at the moment.
  10. Would it be possible to upload the music used for these videos? It's really difficult for me to find them online
  11. Well that goes without saying... Anyways! Since Pozer is lame and won't be goin' to da New Orleans tourney and I still would really like to go to this, I was considering just taking the damn Greyhound bus to New Orleans. HOWEVER!! Other than the fact that Greyhound bus stations are creepy as fuck! I would need someone to pick me up and a place to crash. I will most likely talk to Chris about this. See if he can find it in his MagnetoX heart to help me out. But I'm still throwing this out there in case that can't be arranged.
  12. Also Japanese arcade cabinets are square gate, so if you're used to square gate you won't have to adapt as much.
  13. You have your square (4 directions) gate and you have your octagonal (8 directions) gate. I would say the octagonal is more beginner friendly; however, I find the square gate much better since you don't have to work as hard to press up or down, also you'll know where your corner is for your SRK (DP) motions or when you need to block low (or if playing a charge character). It's all preference really, but sometimes a stick will limit you to what you can do at times.
  14. My stick (as well as it being my first stick) is a Hori RAP1 which has square gate. It was a tad difficult getting used to at first, but I really like square gate compared to octagonal gate. I find it more helpful and easier. It's easier to FRC and FD on stick because of the fact that you have your fingers more spread out. Kinda like playing Tekken on pad. Even though you're on pad, your performance is much better when you learn to play with 2 fingers instead of your thumb. There's a 4H? :8/:
  15. um... lol?
  16. The secret is out!
  17. /activate TX GG shittalk Sounds like a lame excuse. I got beat down by Kensou's Chipp first round and I enjoyed the tourney. learn stick
  18. Why didn't anyone come to regionals? I r sad. I think I was the only person in the GGAC tourney that wasn't from Houston :/
  19. During regionals on Saturday I went up against an Axl player in the loser's bracket. I really have no idea how to play against Axl especially as Millia. Since it was only one match, I didn't have enough time to feel out the Axl and so I lost After the match, Kensou gave tips such as to rush him down, and be sure to oki FD disc since Axl can't really do anything on wake up.
  20. In order to not be called Steve, you must first defeat Shen Long!
  21. I don't believe one exists >_> It'd be better if you asked this question in the Storyline thread than in here, unless the special intro between Millia and Eddie affects the outcome of the match THAT badly :8/:
  22. I'd like to really thanks Teyah for the info Also, I'd like to say that I do intend to keep updating this thread; however with Tim (Taraction) no longer working in San Antonio and James (Colorspray) now having these things called a "job" there's hardly games going on much. And we were so busy playing games that we forgot to record some matches while in Austin. If I can get some sessions in with MagnetoX then I'll be sure to record some footage.
  23. Post that shit up son! You make fun of Tool, but listen to Coheed & Cambria... how da fuck does that work? :8/:
  24. So I figured out that I have no idea how to really move around with Millia. Seems like I try to move in and get hit @_@
  25. It's cool man. It's just difficult being patient with Millia so whenever you can comment I'll greatly appreciate it. Aight, I guess I'll just work on those knockdown combos then.
