I've been trying to learn Millia for a while now and she's really difficult to play *coughKyplayercough* I've got some idea of how to do her ADC combos (you can check my vids in the San Antonio video thread) but I'm really having problems with the relaunch. Lately every time I go into training mode I'm trying to get this combo down against Sol: Sol Combo to 2H (ground launch), j.K-D ||| ADC j.K-D, ADC | j.H, land 5S-2H, j.K-D | ADC j.H, ADC falling j.D xx S Pin, land 6H. I can do the basic ADC combo, but once I land it's rare that I get that relaunch and extremely rare that I land that falling j.D What's the timing like and are there any visual cues or anything that would help me get this down? It just gets so frustrating trying to pull this off and I don't want to quit learning Millia =/

Couldn't find any =/ I believe I downloaded the folder for the character sounds from that site, but did not come with any of the announcer

Does anybody know where I can find the soundbytes for the announcer saying "Here comes daredevil!" and "Slash!"? Preferably the announcer in X2 or Slash.

You should be able to tell by the speed and the FRC point of the SEs S SE is slower than H SE as for FRC points, S SE FRC is around when Ky's cape is still coming down and H SE is after the cape has came down and is still.

Has to do with the frame data. I think the aerial SEs have more frame advantage on block than the ground ones do. Not really 100% sure though.

It's also for zoning purposes. Also, if Eddie gets attacked by an aerial stun edge, there's not much he can do. So FRC that shit, zone him, and get his ass

imo you shouldn't even bother with that.

the FRCs that you should concern yourself with are these: stun edge, heavy stun edge, air stun edges, throw, stun dipper, and lightning javelin. You shouldn't worry too much about FRCing CSE or ACSE /shrug Also, once you get the FRCs down, work on buffering a run after them since you'll need it for SE & HSE and ASEs FRCs, sometimes throw depending on which your character you're comboing, SD for pressure and mix-ups As for LJ FRC, you can do VT loop without FRC and that's better due to meter gain but if you're going for the kill and want to deal some damage then it'd help to know it.

There's a lot of pros and cons when it comes to comparing Slash Ky with AC Ky. True that his old 6HS gave him more options and what not. Slash Ky was really good. I don't know why you mentioned #r Ky I personally find AC Ky more fun and with more options than in previous incarnations. As for meter gain combos, seriously dude check the COMBO THREAD. There's plenty in there. You can do a simple meterless 2D>SVT>LJ combo. It may look really stupid, but you can gain some good meter for it. NO U SUCK!!

Ky's not a horrible character dude. He's fairly balanced. Also, pressure isn't Ky's specialty mang. He can do a lot of other things other than just pressure. As for damage output, Ky has to work for his damage but he can deal it. Though the combos that deal the most damage for Ky are his orb combos (i.e. 2D>orb>6P>5cS>2HS>sj>j.S>j.HS>HVT>LJ) and even his 2D>SE>FRC combos though these are much more difficult to execute due to the timing to SE FRCs But you shouldn't focus yourself on landing those "massive damage dealing" combos. Ky's got his zoning, his mix-ups, his throw combos, his meter gain combos, his damage dealing combos, his pressure. He's got A LOT of shit that you should utilize. Ky isn't all about pressure. btw imma jerk :vbang:

That's not bad for oki and the IAD helps with mix-ups etc. Personally I don't find that much of a need to FRC CSE or ACSE. Especially ACSE since they'll be blocking for quite some time if you do it right, but I'll go in for a tick-throw that way you can deal some damage. Remember Cupui, pressure is nice but you got to get in there and deal some damage. btw, if you have tension you can do 2D>orb combo after you IAD>jS>JHS. If the sweep hits of course.

In the land of San Antonio Z we mash combos like it's nobodies business. Anyways, we've recorded some casual matches and plan on recording some more.
