  1. This is probably going to help me a lot. Thanks.
  2. I haven't noticed the recovery time yet but I'll be sure to keep that into account when doing combos. I've seen some videos where Overdrive can be used in the middle of a combo to set some stuff up, but I guess those were during when the opponent was stunned. I'll figure some things out but you gain Heat so much faster in CP that RC to Overdrive doesn't seem that bad.
  3. Yes I'm kinda feeling it now after playing for a week. I did a few runs through in Arcade mode just to figure out how she controls now and I'm feeling it now. I can hold my own better against my friend than I could have when I first picked it up. You're right that you really just have to get the feel of it. And yeah, Daisharin is really weird to control. The timing of it is interesting and it's going to take some training to understand it fully. I've lost a few fights because I thought that it would get the hit in but it didn't.
  4. I need some good advice on when to use Overdrive? I understand that it's really good to use it in the middle of a combo to do some extra damage and to Overdrive Cancel into another hit, but what about just using it? Because I don't fully understand the amount of time that it takes for the gauge to fill back up, I'm more tempted to use it regardless if I need ti or not. For example, I'd rather use it on the first stage either to do a bit more damage to finish them off or to use it to pull off that turn around because if you win, it'll probably be recharged by the third round if you lose the second, or hopefully by the end of the second if you lose the first. Anyone have some insight on this?
  5. I don't main Jin so my info might not be right, but didn't they really have ice car nerfed since the transition from CT to CS? I remember that it was like really, really good in CT. But I've noticed it hits lower now. What else has changed? Personally I think that Jin has gotten a lot better based upon what I have seen my friend do with him.
  6. What do you guys think is the best way to get that "in hit" on your opponent that allows you to set up some stuff after it. In CSEX I used to always use Litchi's j.B but the move in CP got reworked a bit. I'm getting more used to it, but it seems that it might not be as useful as it used to be and also more punishable though anti-air moves than before. Any tips?
  7. Actually I feel that AmiAmi is a better site. Play-Asia sometimes has weird shipping times and often overprices things. I've ordered a lot of games and figures from AmiAmi and they haven't let me down yet.
  8. Is this the easiest route to take if I want to unlock some unlimited charterers?
  9. Here's my theory with online play in any game: There will always be someone who sucks more than you do. And the best part? You'll probably be paired up with those people! The ranking system in BlazBlue I feel like is pretty reliable in terms of matching you within your skillpool. So you'll start up fighting opponents who are probably in the same situation that you are. Also, don't worry about ranking anxiety. You can't go down in ranking in this game. You'll only lose points in your W/L ratio is you lose. The number that "defines how good you are" can't go down. At least not in the previous versions. Not 100% sure about Chronophantasma. If you're still scared, make a few friends ad do some practice matches in a private lobby. It's a great way to meet try to gt over whatever you're scared about in online matches. Best of luck!
  10. That was actually a really easy transition for me. I'm alright with that after playing Litchi for so long I've begin to memorize what all of he move names are. I've also picked up playing mahjong so I remember the names of her moves that way too now!
  11. Seems like most people are having that same issue. A few moves don't quite work the same way that they did before. It's hitting me hard too. Do your mains feels any different to control/play as though?
  12. I wish my life was as easy as yours.
  13. That's why I always try to have at least 2 characters in a fighting game that I'm decent with. I'm liking Makoto more in CP than I did before, but I want to get better as new Litchi because she's been my main since CT. Azrael is hella fun though. He reminds me of Slayer in a way. Probably mainly because of his dash. I played a match with Tsubaki and she does seem different than before, though I can't really say too much about it because I don't play her enough. I like Terumi a lot too. He just goes. I need to practice some more with him to understand what each input does but his moveset, it just works! Don't give up in the transition. I was getting kinda bitchy the other night because new Litchi wasn't doing what I wanted her to. But then I just listen to this and remember that Boys Don't Cry. Man I've been doing the same thing with Litchi. She has this new dash move with a 421C[e] input that's apparently really good in combos and another new move, but I just keep sticking with her Three Dragons even though it's not as good now. Also, as a side note, it's nice to see another JoJo fan. All I think of when I use Makoto's Overdrive Distortions is Jonathan. Furueru zo haato! Moetsukiru hodo hiito! Kisamu zo, ketsueki no biito! PARTICLE FLARE OVERDRIVE!
  14. I have Makoto's Announcer Pack in CSEX so I might get her again in CP because I love how excited she sounds. Though once I learned that Taokaka's seiyuu, Chiwa Saitō, also voices Caster from Fate/EXTRA, I kinda want to get that one, but she's just way too silly when it comes to announcing. Kokonoe sounds nice too, but she's really serious. Though I'm really just glad that the default announcer is way better than the one in CSEX.
  15. General Discussion about your transition between CSEX and Chronophantasma Things you like? Things you don't like? New challenges you face? Maybe you found a new main? Right now I'm having trouble intoing CP Litchi. A lot has changed (for me at least) between the two versions so I'm going to have to do a lot of practicing to get back to where I was in CSEX. My friend who plays Jin looks like he made a really smooth transition and might actually be a lot better now with new Jin. I'm also really liking Overdrive! I get such a rush when I do an Overdrive Distortion. Especially with Makoto.
