  3. If I were to make a tourney possible for March 18th how many would be interested? even thinking about including a good (cheap) price since it would probably be free to enter since BB doesn't really attract that many people
  4. ^In other words make it dumb easy for Carl to open up people? If everybody got treated that way then this game would be incredibly imbalanced lol. Not saying I don't agree, but that's exactly why he isn't getting those options (except for Nirvana moves costing too much, that would just make him too good :3
  5. yea I thought the same thing in terms of Ada gauge as well. That alone makes positioning better since you can move her closer to the opponent and turn her off without wasting anything. Simply great against Haku tbh. Also great for trolling purposes. Added with faster gauge recovery is just superb. The only slap in the face is the cantabile change though, as raw cantabile is... well unsafe. But as stated before, if they made cantabile better it would be very difficult to stop Carl's momentum, especially with the gauge buffs. [in other words, Carl would be S+ Tier pretty damn quickly]

As with all characters you wanna learn check these places out first. Open to all questions here, but many users have put a lot of work into Carl strategy so at least acknowledge it (and in other sections to their work isn't ignored) sorry for being brash, I don't mean it :D, but the threads have great info and people tend to just ignore them... It's not that he's hard but he loses to practically every online gimmick you can think of (bad normals=no free mashing) SMP kind of took his gimmicks away which is why he's a sad soldier still viable, but there's a reason why his count is astronomically low online, and why many Carl players don't like using him on PSN

So using Ada as a wall in this MU is useless since he can pretty much go through her (I had a big wtf moment when this first happened) Brio and 8D are pretty much the only options we have to take him down expect to be heavily annoyed when fighting him <_<. Remember to pray when you're dealing with wolf form face to face as well since they're aren't many good options to get out (not even block) well 5A can work, but good luck.............. i'm going to say 3-7 for this match up as valks main concern with Carl should be getting him to a corner. even if Carl manages to call Ada the valk player can use wolf and easily attack her and jump away. CON is definitely difficult to achieve because of the amount of airtime wolf form will get Pretty damn hard in CP, my #1 worst MU in the game
  15. yes :3 623C>421D>CT>5C>623D>j.B>j.A>j.B>jc>j.B>j.2C>j.B>j.C>8D Simplicity at it's finest (tested and you get 4.1-4.4k depending on character specific combo routes) you can actually get 4.5 (I think it was 4513 to be exact) if you add 6D timing is MUCH more lenient for the same amount of damage for the other route, it's just you can't follow this up with the unblockable set up anyway (which is a pain in the ass itself to get the proration in your favor without an "A starter"). I'm guessing throw>CT, Tenerraza, 6C lv.2> 5C>Brio> allegretto>8D or volante plus either fermatta or Appregio in that order, let me check... 4488 is the most if gotten. you cannot connect 3C with a fully charged CT or just a regular one since the opponent will tech out of it, so you can't use either distortion.

  23. ^that was probably crazy ape His brother plays carl so don't take the trolling to hard :3 Best way to beat TK swallow moon is 6A and platinum has a counter? Learn something new everyday.... The match up isn't bad, but I always had some issue with her hit box.
