I haven't posted on here in a while, but yall know how to contact me if we are getting some matches together and stuff! Sounds like in general yall are gonna be doing stuff, which is awesome, so here's hoping everything P4A goes hype for us all! I will be attending the Hazbatz fo sho until I get something figured out in my car situation (I'm actually try to....gasp....get a car/learn to drive/get my license), so it'll be awesome if we get some more peeps on Saturday (sept 8th) to blow up P4A over there! Of course, if anyone wants to play with me online, feel free to add me and I'll be on PSN every now and then. With my new job, I actually have slowed down practicing since I'm coming home more tired than usual. Hype for early morning fighting game sessions!

So Tager isn't annoying even though 2 360's brings most characters to 15% life? So Noel isn't annoying even though her 2D can cross up most crouching characters into big damage? So Bang/Litchi aren't annoying even though 85% of their moves are safe on block? So Carl isn't annoying even though he has legit unblockables mid-screen? So Lambda/Mu aren't annoying even though their projectiles can still hit you even AFTER they have been hit? Again, I don't work for ASW, so I'm not defending any character moreso than others. This is a general conversation that we have had with other characters, in other games, and we WILL have these conversations in future games with future characters. I'm saying that the moment we stop blaming things we don't control and start focusing on ways to overcome our challenges with tactics we CAN control is the moment we will truly evolve as a FGC. Another slight UMvC3 detour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9S5Rl6AKrM This was the first, THE FIRST, time I've fought someone who played keep away this strong and focused. Most people just kept pushing buttons on Hulk's H, not realizing his super armor, or push-blocking Firebrand's approaches to allow him to cross-up/under. This guy, however, kept a cool head and waited for me to panic and punished me hardcore. I felt like I couldn't do anything against him, so while my salt level was pretty high after that, I shook his hand and started thinking about what I can do against this kind of keep away. Fast forward to Hazbat 1.5, and off stream I had to play him again (he beat Haz, so it was either revenge or play against the host), and I caught him in a happy birthday in the first round. He right away started blaming the monitor sound (it was at 100%), started saying something was wrong with his pad (he uses regular Xbox controllers), and said something along the lines of "My allergies are going off". The second round, however, he beat me pretty bad, but didn't say anything, so after switching out Firebrand, I won the 3rd round, in which he repeated his excuses again. Basically, his way of losing was to blame ANYTHING and EVERYTHING other than the fact that it said KO on the screen and he wasn't the one who won. He blamed things he couldn't control to coverup the fact that he stopped caring about the things he COULD control in the match. Plus, I do honestly take light offense because he is my main. Don't get it twisted, I'm not mad or personally hurt when people hate on him, and I've said plenty of times that Arakune's worst matchup is against Arakune, so I hate him just as much (if not, more) than you guys. I also believe that we can only love something as much as we hate it at the same time, so my love to this blob of a character is only visible after realizing how much I abhor fighting against him. Just try to remember that every character in every game has something we hate about them, and that's why we love those games so much! With P4A just around the corner, I'm sure we are gonna have an awesome time! I'm also sure we are gonna find a couple of things that irritate us about it, so make sure we have this open dialogue to give pointers and ideas of what we CAN do instead of straight up trolling on what we CAN'T do. TL;DR: Thinking about better things like Ray's bod and KOF skills made me ramble again in another patented Tubazo "You type too much" post. It doesn't help that I've been thinking more each time I've been posting a big long rant about my top 7 BB songs on my Facebook, so once I'm done talking about how much I love Memory of Tears (SPOILERS! kappa) on my Facebook, I'll be back to short posts that people can actually read in less than a minute. ALso, HYPE FOR NOT ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY P4A! YET ANOTHER TIME DEVASTATION MONIES WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL!

.........first to 10? WE MUST PLAY! YOU DO NOT YET FEAR DA BEEZ! WE MUST MAKES HIM CRY!....... I honestly didn't read you saying "I don't really", I heard Arakune say in his awesome voice "DID YOU KNOW!?!" In all seriousness, he's a weird subject when it comes to hardcore players. Personally, I still believe BB is the most balanced fighter in the current market, and that even though people find flaws with certain strategies or characters, I think people will ALWAYS find things that don't feel "right". Arakune is pretty good (An Arakune got 3rd at EVO), but he isn't unbeatable (I got tied 17th with Zeromus at EVO, and couldn't even beat a freakin Tao!). He has problems, and without curse, he's easily one of the worst characters in the game. He does, however, have that "fear" mechanic. The idea that players have to think too much when fighting against Arakune. Save your burst, or risk getting cursed? Jump into a cloud, or try to turtle until it goes away? Jump in on him, or stay on the ground and risk him getting in the air (which makes non-curse Arakune somewhat playable)? I also believe Arakune's worse match-up is against Arakune, but he's still hella free to rushdown, which EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER in BB can do better than him. He just takes time to figure out. Slight UMvC3 detour because that's the only game I'm good at nowadays :-( My "fake" Firebrand unblockable only works on part of the cast (just double jump, air dash or flight mode away), but even if they land before they get hit or block my Arthur assist, they can simply jump TOWARDS Firebrand and hit him before the unblockable comes out. This line of thinking comes from The Two Towers. "The closer you are to danger, the farther you are from harm." This is something I believe people who rag on Arakune need to realize. Once you jump on him, he's dead in two combos. Without 50 meter, he has no safe wake-up, and his only "safe" wake-up requires 100 meter. Sure, any character is a problem when I can scrub out two tourney wins with my horrible tactics, but the idea that he needs to be "removed" from the game can only take one step before you realize that EVERY character has reasons why they should be "removed" from the game. TL;DR: Beez are only scary once you realize you don't have to cut down the tree to deal with them. There plenty of ways to deal with them, just as long as you remember that every character is equipped with a flame thrower (except for Tager, he only has bug repellent grenades).

If memory serves me right, NFG stemmed from some weird stuff between the HAZ peeps and some other peeps. I won't tell you what NFG stands for, but it's just another group of gamers so there isn't any drama really. Can't wait to play P4A with yall! Gonna be hype! ......Better keep practicing Koogy! Actually, more so in EX than any other version, when I mash a button to tech out, it sometimes comes up blue, but it doesn't let me tech! Most of the time happens against Bang, but I've seen it happen a lot more than during CS1/2. I'm assuming I'm not mashing hard enough, then I look at the mirror and realize I play arakune, so I think the game trolls me from time to time, SAYS I can tech out of the 3rd hit, but won't let me and I get taken into the corner and raped. :-(

P4U was AWESOME! It was much better seeing it live than on Youtube. Not just a resolution thing either, something about the displays made those games look cool. I scrubbed it up, and got to see a lot, and I'm even more excited to pick it up and play it with you guys! I personally played like trash during the team tourney. I take full responsibility.......we got double OCV'ed. The first one was understandable, it was against Spark, but damn that Tao mind-fucked me. I did ok during the singles. beat DSmove, another noel player, and a hakumen on stream, then got beat by Dacidbro on stream when he switched to Ragna (Once that's online, I'd appreciate any and all pointers, cuz I think I choked pretty hard), then lost to that other noel player that I beat during a rematch (I think that other noel was Delta, and got close to top 8 or something?). It was pretty hype, and a fun experience overall! I'm still looking forward to playing more BB with you guys, but after my horrible performance during the team tourney, I kinda felt done with BB in general. Don't get it twisted, I fucking love this game, but with P4U coming out and my confidence growing in UMvC3 (I made it out of my pool....IN WINNERS! I lost to Infrit, the dude who got 2nd in the whole thing, won against CJShowstopper, and lost to Jan outside of pools though.....yes, that Jan), I've kinda been feeling burnt out when it comes to BB. I'm still hyped for the future, but after this weekend, I don't see myself putting a lot of time into BB as I have done in the past. Overall, it was an awesome time! Can't wait to go again next year! GG everyone! Thanks again for hosting Ruben. I am genuinely hyped for P4U, and can't wait to see everyone play it. Was awesome to get to practice with you guys, and I hope Erik and Chris are ready to pwn this weekend! If we need to talk more about our team, then I'm all ears. I think we are solid and ready for the most part though. Team "We don't always burst..." is gonna bring da hype! Yeah Erik, I still thin of you as an awesome anchor in terms of once you get into that tourney groove, you're really solid. That comeback against OrionXElite at Revelations was so GDLK! Make sure to take breathes and you'll adapt awesomely! LOL @ the colorado Litchi. I still remember saying "Guess it's my turn to lose to him" after he got you guys. Team Fried Chicken, rice, and Mac and cheese? Team Animu? Team AZ INVASION! I still wish we did "Team Tsunami is S-Tier" at Revelations, but maybe we can keep team "3 hours of sleep"? I know I won't be sleeping well that weekend. TOO MUCH HYPE! While we can talk about team names and stuff all day, what do you think the order should be? I still believe Erik is hella clutch as an Anchor, and I wouldn't mind being on point for Erik/Chris to start downloading our opponents, but in general should we have an order or adjust to the team we are fighting in the moment?
