Woo Skype group! I don't reall know how groups work but absinthae is my handle

Or unless you start to read your opponent and read/bait the burst... It's simple once you start to analyze your opponent's pattern and reactions. afaik it's a common move to burst after 6B because everyone knows that it leads to Omohikane and kinda strong damage. Other bursting points are after 2C CH (alternative route with dash 5C is technically burst safe then) and j.2C
-
Yuki I've tried to add you on XBL ages ago since it's kinda impossible for me to play with people overseas, it'd be good to play with some other European Mu without heavy lag

Good info C0R, thank you really much about Probably in Extend ~j.2C > j.4D/j.2D > 662B > 5B > air dp > airdash throw will work, all depends on air dp recovery. Gonna ask through secret ways if someone can try it on cab! Also how does 6A > super work? Heavily charaspecific? Sorry if it's already written in some other thread or page and I didn't pay attention ( ´Д`)

In fact I do think that air tsunugui will have an important role when trying to create a sort of air-to-ground mixup, meterless or not. First thing I get in mind would be j.632C > RC > j.B > land > throw... I can clearly imagine this scenario near the corner with 5D and j.D set up for oki. Plus, j.632C on opponent's wakeup, who thinks Mu is going to jump in, would most likely nullify some common DPs imho. Keep in mind that it could be used for combos... And maybe combo ender for tech traps and such Welcome to Makoto CS2 corner mixup! :V

Asked to FunyaQ if we can negative edge while charging habakiri: nope Then he said it's a pretty good strategy against Hakumen in order to bait him to counter the explosions with D and let him whiff it (as if we didn't expect that lol) jBBS latest news are... 3C CH > j.2C works Throw > 6A > 6B > 5C or 2C or 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D > 6A > 6C > 5D > 214D〆 Options: ①6C > *D > SoD (46 meter gain) ②6A > Omohikane (42 meter gain) ③J2C > ミライ (the future, lol) ・There are of course characters on which this combo works and not ・Works always on Jin, Noel, Tager, Litchi, Rachel, Hazama and Valk ・Works good on Tao, but when doing 5C is a bit more difficult ・Works on Relius only with 6A > 2C ・Work on Ragna, Arakune, Platinum, Makoto and Lambda with 5C > 2C ・Hakumen, Tsubaki and Mu are yet to be examined as well as Bang and Carl "I have to find a good purpose on using air tsunugui, I can't even understand why it was added..." "Trolling perhaps? ~j.2C > Tsunugui > RC > j.2C > Tsunugui > j.2C > Tsunugui > lololo"

More damage changes and impressions, most of them are of course to be taken with a grain of salt 5B 450→530 2B 350→450 5C 650→720 2C 650→720 3C 600→660 JC 600→700 ・2C initial head invul removed? ・JC lower hitbox might be improved Near corner 2C>5C>6C>5D>JC works on Lambda ・6B improved? Maybe it's a feeling but on Carl it worked just... better ・Near corner 2C OTG>6C>charged SoD>6C gives good meter 2C>6C>xD>SoD>6C is good, too ・Near corner 6A>J2C>JD>2C is acceptable ・Midscreen 3C>RC>dash 6A>6B>6A>J2C>dash 2C>5C>6C route is splendidly high (talking about a hypotetic habacan after 6C) I wonder how 2C OTG will affect pick up combos. But I'm sure it won't replace 2B and its jump cancellability :v You should be more scared about Mu DP doing 800 dmg on clean hit, lol

Been browsing through Mu boards and I effectively read something like "corner combos are as the same as before", so no major changes here. Translating impressions from various players Someone says "j.2C on block can be cancelled in air tsunugui now" While another one responds with a plain "yo it's been a while that j.2C is special cancellable so no big deal bout it" "Made various attempts: About j.2C at the least height, attack level is still downgraded I wonder if hit timing has changed, on crouching opponent Habaya on hit would do consecutive hits Lasers seem faster, Habakiri + Omohikane off a midscreen throw deals ~4150 + good amount of steins The usual 2B 5C starter for a corner combo with 6A 6B + three steins wasn't possible anymore It's certainly possible to deny others projectiles with Habakiri (doesn't say if charged or not) 2C OTG can be used after 3C CH, air throw and such in order to extend damage ... But after a ground throw you can't apparently link a 6C" Then personal impressions like "these changes aren't really heavy and I couldn't feel them at first, aside from having 1 primer cut off..." Then again I had the chance to chat a bit with jp Mu players, and both FunyaQ and H.H are looking forward to the air versions of Tsunugui and Yata, wanting to see what strategies will be developed around them. Pretty agreeing with them, even though I'm more hyped for charged 'splosionz

... Didn't notice that it's a new part of the board and those are like opening posts of the thread Thank you for advicing me Zeromus, I'd have continued translating and translating if nobody told me that lol

236A is as good as ever imho, no need to buff it. Far away from the kind of that useless ball of CS1 By catching delayed tech I meant to set up steins, hold down 214D and wait for opponent's wake up. When they do their delayed (since if the others know a bit of Mu matchup they're aware that waking up immediately after 6C > 6D is a HIGH risk...) tech, no more negative edge on D and boom, explosions - lotsa setups in my mind :3c better continue writing down those combos
-
Translating (even though they're easily understandable) all the checked combo in the BBS, there's some interesting stuff Uh and I was thinking, 214[D] could be used for dealing with delayed ground tech... Think about it, 6C > 6D~4D > 214[D] and the opponent would be obliterated by dem delayed explosions on wakeup. If it works like this, Mu will probably have one of the best and scary oki in the game, gentlemen

Kept in touch with H.H via Twitter these days and, along with saying that he has good hopes for air tsunugui midscreen: そーいえば。溜めハバキリと溜めないハバキリでダメージ同じだった。何かを見てから即爆発させたい場面とかあったかなぁ… In poor words, charged habakiri and uncharged habakiri deal the same damage. As expected, I think 214[d] will be used mostly for renewed setups Also from Ushidonburi's blog: Ehy, what's that? A bird? A airplane? No, you're wrong... That's... 三◇TSUNUGUI! lmfao Oh and has anyone said that j.tsunugui cornerbounds?
-
I'm sure I'm talking for everyone when I say: who would expect tsunugui to be air usable? I'm pretty excited to see how this new feature will improve her "get away from me kyaaa" game Can't imagine how many setups will come out as soon as we discover how 214[d] works
-
Same thing of j.236A whiffing on forward tech, it's all a matter of timing and distance aaaand hitboxes I suppose? AFAIK, the more late the opponent neutral techs, the more chances of having a j.236A "have-to-guess-if-it's-a" crossup
-
Don't know if it's the right section to post them, but in these days I found some setups and techtraps without steins 2C CH > 6C - Good to carry the opponent to the corner instead of focusing on damage by doing 2C CH > 866 > j.C > j.2C. Meh timing but not so difficult, a nice shortcut would be 2C CH > 214D (whiff) > 6C 6A CH > 236A - Now that 236A does 5 hits, if the opponent neutral airtechs after the first three, the last two will hit after its tech, allowing you to continue with j.C > j.2C > 663B etc. You can also do it off a wallbounce, like 6C > SoD (cornerbound) > 6A > 236A. The effect is similar to Dormammu's flaming ball in MvC3 btw lol. Oh and IT WORKS ONLY ON ARAKUNE, LAMBDA AND RAGNA. Pretty awful. (corner) SoD / pickup 2B > 6A > j.2C > j.236A - Basically, everything turns around the untechable knockdown of j.2C. So, when the opponent teches: Neutral -> opponent hit by habaya or blocking it -> mixup time! Forward -> too much to explain. In poor words: in order to beat a forward tech you have to read the future or have a extremely good control of spacing. When speaking about a forward tech, this setup isn't charaspecific, it's... Range-specific. If you're too close to the corner when you do 6A > j.2C, habaya will completely whiff on some character (Makoto, Platinum and Valk, atm I tried it only on them); but if you reach a optimal range, habaya will eat forward techs of every character. On Tager and Ragna habaya hit at any distance, but I still have to try on others. So... If you, from where you are, know that j.236A WOULD NOT hit in case of a forward tech, the best option is to pick the opponent up by doing 663B and stop worrying about it. Memo: I also have to try 6A > back jump 2C > j.236A, it seems an acceptable solution to get rid of this retarded range-related issue. Well then: - If the opponent delays its tech, j.236A hits OTG and it's possible to continue the blue beated combo - Immediate okizeme situation - Depending on distance from corner, j.236A can also become an ambiguous crossup - SCARY MIXUP if the opponent blocks: if he block low, j.B or 6B; if high, 5B! I suppose this could turn out as an unblockable setup -It's like some of those Akuma's traps w/ air hadoukens lol 214D (hit) > 6B > 6A > j.2C > j.236A - midscreen variation that eats neutral techs and forward techs. The opponent has to obbligatory tech backward and go back to the place where he belongs - the corner.

Found this nice corner-carry combo off 6A CH 6A > IAD > j.B > j.C > j.2C > dash 2B > 5C > 6C > SoD (SoD > random ender/Omohikane) Also, I noticed that CH 6A > j.2C > Omohikane is possible even midscreen. Any advice on how OTG Omohikane works?
-
Love 'em too <3 since I knew Platinum had bubbles, I instantly remember Rikuo's unblockable setup w/ his bubble in Darkstalkers 3. Having a similar effect or, in this case, at least some tech traps, might push Platinum okizeme at its limits You now realize that I wrote "backward" but there's not backward when you're in the corner so I'm a retard lol
-
I stopped lurking DL like three months ago lol, but now that I have the chance to experiment in training mode I'd like to share this tech trap (corner) 5B > 5C > 236B > 5C > 236B > 2A > Sally A/B/C The key is: air tech after 2A. You can start it from anything now that I think about it lol, must be after a knockdown though because you pick up the opponet with 2A By the way, if your opponent is unaware of this kind-of-reset and does a neutral tech, the bubble gets right in its face - if the opponent techs forward or backward, the bubble trajectory will go in its way anyway lol. Not so dangerous but it's a cool setup imho! I'm actually in search of more tech traps like this

1- Open the sprite 2- Image --> Mode --> Something like "color chart", I don't really know how to translate it from Italian :P 3- Colors everywhere! FYI the first two (black and white) are nowhere in the sprite, the others are... Well, discover it! 4- Click Save and you'll have an .act file for further use 5- Save as .png or .gif Hope it helps everyone who is trying to work with palettes :3 it's funny as hell! @SuperScarfy: gosh, the bell looks like a pair of tits... WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE (but I approve, even if it wasn't intentional!).

[CS2] Platinum the Trinity Actual Discussion Thread The First
Absinthe replied to Circuitous's topic in Archive
Fun fact: I was playing Guilty Gear Petit 2 and I found that Fanny has some moves of Platinum (well, maybe viceversa!). Tribute? Hope so. It's funny to notice that they both guard themselves by hiding behind their weapon :3 Here's the sprite sheet, you can clearly see a little CDT as the throw, j.C (I suppose... Fanny jumping with her syringe between legs) and the spinning motion. -
Rizelia Mu-Elos!

Gonna make it asap! It's a nice palette, working on it could be fun. T-Elos Mu is driving me crazy ;_;.
-
I would perfectly see Mu as T-Elos! Gonna give it a try, Kos-Mu is also fantastic. lol guys you are all giving to me a lot of ispiration. I just realized that Murki posted a Platinum Badguy (... Fuck yeah) before me ): I didn't refresh the page and didn't see yours, my apologizes!
