  1. Golden Tager gigantic missile deserves to be seen. Oh, and if you thought Plat cat hammer stalling was bad, try Unlimited Plat super jump > swallow moon straight up > fan x 4 > j.1D (more fan) > fan x 4...
  2. Unlimited Plat is pretty lulz. She runs and air dashes extra fast, and instead of double jumping, she SUWAROーMOON♪'s, and can fly around for a good while and at an increased speed on that puffy little cloud. Foreign Melody does a triple pogo stomp and can still be RC'd into a combo. Her items are always SUGOI, and she can choose which to pull out by holding a direction while pressing D (uses all of 412365). Dramatic Sammy launches the opponent way higher in the air so you can follow up with Mami Circular or something, and if you don't have an item, you can choose which you want with a directional button. Since her items are always SUGOI, Miracle Jeanne doesn't do what it used to, but instead makes SUGOI bombs rain from the sky after a couple seconds, kinda like Doom's hidden missiles, except on steroids. Cure Dot Typhoon, on hit, will finish by launching a Golden Tager sized cat missile, then calls Doom assist. Oh unlimited characters...
  3. Well, shit son, 0.20a does work, though feels like there's some display lag. Well, guess that's the price for lower memory use. Ah trusty GEN 5.50, even in your old age you still find ways to be useful.
  4. FOR PSP-1000 USERS Okay guys, so here's the scoop. It's pretty much the worst-case scenario for ancient 1k users. BBCS2 uses enough memory that you can't even get past setting your profile name without it exploding on you. I guess we just have to settle for the PSP pad... Just kidding! Seriously, fuck that d-pad... and fuck the 360's d-pad while we're at it. No, this can still work dammit! This is pretty much as shitty as it gets, but here goes. Set RMJ to TEST MODE, bump the memory all the way to 0x087F0000 (the second-last one), and uncheck, "Turn PSP screen off". Your RMJ screen will now look like a variation of that garbage when you start the PSP, HOWEVER, it will still be able to use your computer for inputs. That's right, you're stuck with using the screen on the PSP, but you can plug that stick of yours into the computer and actually control the game. DONE. C'mon console CS2, srsly... Edit: lol @ fan. 「なんでやねん!」ってね IMPORTANT EDIT: Or, if you want this shit to show on your monitor with a bit of display lag, flash your PSP back to GEN 5-50 and use RJL 0.20a. Although, there's a slight catch to this that I won't get into...
  5. BNCI's runtime was gdlk, the guy I was watching the stream with passed out before BB finals even started. Pity too, 'cause the outside competition made it damn entertaining.
  6. Maybe the next BuruRaji will say something about it, but probably not. They just want to hype the portable versions for now, at least for a couple weeks after their release. At that point they'll probably have made the majority of their sales and might give word on the console situation.
  7. New feature mode? Abyss mode? Think that's the only new, "mode", as far as what had been announced. *Edit* Look like they added an FAQ post on the website. Versions are, "essentially the same", both support local versus with their respective functionalities (ad-hoc or... CrossPass?). For PSP, I believe it says that PSP-1000 models may frame-skip occasionally, but also claims that this will not affect your inputs. Also drops a 600MB install data on your memory card, assuming you want it. Also, ASW explicitly refuses to provide a walkthrough. I'm not sure who was expecting them to, but apparently it was worth their time to say it's not happening.
  8. On the topic of preparation for CSII on PSP, for anyone like myself still using an ancient PSP 1000 model, this might need to be done to make it work with RJL. You'll want to set the transfer system address to something further along in the memory. While we can't know how much memory CSII will use, if you didn't do this for CT with a 1000 model, it would crash the PSP... a lot. However, with this changed, it seemed to work for me... Didn't crash in my limited testing, anyways. Setting it to 0x08790000 like in the first picture will make RJL's memory use bleed into the space used to store your active wallpaper for the XMB. As far as I can tell, the wallpaper is stored at the end of the PSP's memory. If that mess goes past the bottom of the screen on the XMB... well, it won't, because the PSP will crash before that can happen. Basically, you want RJL as close to the end of the memory as possible to give the game the most to work with, without going off the end. If either the game or RJL runs out of memory, the PSP will crash. Note that in-game RJL may use more than it does in the XMB, so you need to leave it some breathing room (like in the provided images). tl;dr Set the Transfer sys address to 0x08790000 or thereabouts on PSP 1000 systems and pray to your deity of choice that it works.
  9. Naw, if there's anything that's going to make everyone pick up Plat, it'll be because of SUWAROーMOON♪ Or maybe that's just me.
  10. PSP 2000's and Go's (will the game even have a digital release?) might actually be able to run it without issue on RJL since some of the custom firmwares claim to increase memory capacity, and if RJL uses that new memory space, I can't imagine any game going beyond the normal capacity of a PSP. But I'm not really sure on that, seeing how I'm running an old 1000 model that definitely doesn't have that capability. All you can do with the 1k's is push the memory space that RJL uses forward so that the game has a little more to work with, and hope that it's enough.
  11. Gahh! Must... Resist... Off-topic... Image... How can Kaqn live with himself after this? What a horrible person. He didn't even let himself get asstrolled at the end like in all his other videos of late =P Hopefully BBCS2 on PSP will only use as much memory as CT did, as that one was just barely workable with remotejoylite after a little tinkering. It would be nice if they didn't mess with the command interpreter the way they did with CT too, even if that would render it almost completely unplayable on the PSP d-pad (I remember 2X > 6X always became 2X > 236X). Ah well, only time will tell with that. Bah, it's no use!
  12. But they only have something to gain from releasing on portable systems first. If they decide to price the CS2 update, say $20 like you said, people who are willing to buy it at that price are going to do so, regardless if the portable release is out or not. If they were on the other hand to release the console patch first, that would probably deter sales for the portable versions, as no matter how you look at it, the portable version will be inferior to a console equivalent, so from a business standpoint, it only makes sense to release the console version later. Plus if you look at the main site they've been hyping up the portable releases with no mention of the console update. That should make it pretty clear what their focus is on right now.
  13. Probably the bat, 'cause it's like Hazama once he gets 50 meter. All of a sudden, the opponent needs to be more careful with their pressure. ホームランです!
  14. Does anyone know how Plat's battle voice works yet? Is it completely random which it selects, or is there some mechanic behind it? 'Cause every time I get Luna, I'm gonna end up just spamming Swallow Moon...
  15. Mami circular losing to Bang's j.A better just be a hitbox issue; if it actually has lower priority... =( Luna using swallow moon is painfully cute...
  16. Show some respect for the mahou shoujo please, even she needs a place where she can be safe. If you want to be a Ragna, go right ahead, but do it somewhere else. This thread was created pretty much entirely 'cause the old one went down that road... And cut Ueda Kana some slack too eh? Probably won't buy MvC3 on release, but I'll likely have a friend who does, so will get to try it out that way.
  17. Right? But thinking about it, it's essentially spending $300 for a functioning d-pad... Can I just jam my stick into the PSP? When you put it that way, I get curious...
  18. Nah, console patch will definitely be out after the ports to boost sales, even if only by a couple weeks or something. Really wishing the PSP d-pad wasn't so bad though =/ And hey, be nice to them furries. Plenty of them just keep to their own devices. EDIT: Overhead fail
  19. Disclaimer: The views expressed in this thread are not representative of the general public. Also, hype for Noel sigs?
  20. Even if a character seems easy to learn, there's an obvious difference between mastery and moderate proficiency. If you think your easily learned Ragna can beat Kaqn, have fun with that. I'm pretty sure that even if she had the easiest playstyle evar, most people still wouldn't pick her up anyways, because lol little girl. Masculine westerners couldn't bring themselves to do it =P Not exactly time to say, "much lesser", after only one ep, but it really was pretty copypasta Nanoha (sees stuff in dream, magic critter calls for help, saves magic critter...). SHAFT seriously needs to learn some self-control though. All their, "artsy", shit is more distracting than it is beneficial to their shows. EDIT: Oh, and on Sena not sounding male... Maybe it's 'cause he's still stuck using a little girl's pipes. He's trying his best, but the vocal cords ain't helping him any.
  21. Well, that's no fun. Toronto gets CSII, and all we got over here was Canada Cup. Peropero there was not.
  22. Many Hakumen players didn't realize they had a D button... But I digress.
  23. Absolutely loving that mobility. Her backdash looks like it covers come good distance in a hurry, and random mami circular gets you in outta nowhere. Her bombs and missiles look as good as bang's nails for blockstun to get you in, and on hit she can confirm into combos. That 5B looks like it'll be a serious problem for characters with limited range; it looks absurdly long, not to mention it looks like she can confirm it into combos from pretty much max range. Except for Noel, who continues to get 4k mid-screen, albeit somewhat unsafely.
  24. I've got it uploading... Almost done. 512kbit upload speeds really aren't helping. There we go. Re-uploading to youtube sucks... These videos are poor enough quality without the additional re-encode >< Jourdal's is up.
  25. More Plat here in the second and third matches. Ragna gets BODIED! Plus mami circular CH for 4.5k <3
