  1. So it depends on the distance between me and the opponent with me being further away generally meaning I'm safer, unless of course they have a ranged attack which can punish my whiffed swords.
  2. I'm pretty inexperienced with Lambda and with fighting games in general. I'm curious to know whether or not it's a good idea to use her Drive to try and predict an opponent's dash-in or is it best to wait until they actually commit to a dash-in/jump-in/etc. before summoning my swords?
  3. Does anyone have the colour chart for Lambda, including the DLC colours? For some reason I'm actually having a hard time finding it.
  4. No offense taken, but I want to take part in the UK fighting game scene and anything that makes my life easier when playing casual or entering tournaments for fun is naturally appreciated. I read the Taokaka comment in this very topic as I browsed through the first few pages before posting. I'm a tiny but hesitant about using Ragna since one of my friends already uses him as his main so I predict many mirror matches if I also go with that choice. I wanted to pick up Rachel but I hear she's not only been nerfed in CS but she's also quite tricky to use well.
  5. If Ragna is the easiest character to learn for high level play, then I'll stick with him until CS2 is available in Europe, at which point I'll be more comfortable with the game and can consider switching to a new main. I may give Taokaka a go because someone mentioned she's good for people who play on instinct, but my friend who already mains her says all her combos in CS rely on taunt cancelling or something, and involve links. If I can handle her BNB combos consistently, I may just use her as she seems quite speedy-looking, if not then I know I can fall back on Ragna. Can anyone expand upon the comment regarding Taokaka being good for instinctive play? Is it actually true, and if so what makes her so capable in this category compared to other characters?
  6. Thanks Feanor, but does anyone else have recommendations for me? I'd like to get multiple people's opinions on this if possible.
  7. Greetings gentlemen, I've just ordered BBCS and I’m still a beginner in the fighting game genre. I work seven days a week and my spare time is generally limited, but what time I have is mostly spent gaming. I’m interested to know which character is the easiest to ‘master’ for high level play, and hopefully an explanation as to why you’ve recommended that particular character. I would add personal preferences like how I’d much rather play rush-down or have a very ‘fast’ character but I want to keep it simple; which character requires a minimum amount of practice to play at a high level for someone who has limited time to play, but still wants to play to win?
