I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're not a fan of P4A. Also, just gonna put my own thoughts into this; when Haku has his astral ready, is it wrong to say that he basically controls the match from there? All he has to do is wait foe the opponent to make a move, and he can just block any projectiles that go his way. There's nothing you can do at that point besides hope you don't pick a wrong time to attack or have any gaps in your blockstrings, and I would imagine that's how Hakus would want it. >opinions

I fought a level 9 dude with 500ish psr and a rank C-, while I'm level 18 or so with about 200 psr and a C for a grade. If anyone can make sense of this asinine system, they should quit fighting games and go like, cure diseases or something. If you're just calling xbl free, doesn't that also include yourself and others that might not be free? Just thinking out loud, apologies.

My favorite part about all of this is how absurdly fast you can do the Mortal Blow in P4A compared to BB.

Not to interject, but I've always seen astrals as just flashy finishers. Not much else. Something extra. Something cool to look at and fun to execute. I figure if you couldn't make your opponent burst or use more meter to kill you, you might deserve to be astral'd. Of course that isn't strictly true, but I think it holds water.

Astrals and astral requirements are fine they way they are; if they were any easier to do then...well, then I would just be playing P4A, basically. Besides, comboing into astrals is an art, or at least it should be.

Just another 10k+ smp I found using Omni's stuff CH [2C] > 5AA > 5B > 2AB > 236AB > Mudoon > 214D > 2A > 2B > 236A~D > 5C > [236B~D]xN I was doing a simple little combo, 5AA > 5B > 5C > 2D, and found that you can charge the 2D there to try and catch them mashing, so I decided to see if I could manage some fruit loops off of it and, sure enough, it worked out.

I know the feeling. When the PV was released, it made me way more hype just the loketest over p4a's actual release haha. I was actually able to sneak out a first win online, but it seems that the netcode is still majorly fucked for the 360 version, unfortunately. Not sure why I thought it might not be.

In other news, this autocombo malarky in P4A is making me afraid to use my A attacks. But Naoto is definitely awesome.
