You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear this question. All my life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JI0jAW7s0YY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miLkU-Yy7wY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmxXqcltXY4 There's more but this is most likely close to the stuff you're looking for. If you have a IK combo in there, this is actually mandatory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVyEw2Rh0wM which brings us to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbaaI5xf4y8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHlF4FMxLcE This has nothing to do with anything but its just so good. -

In case any of you haven't seen this yet, here's what the proprietor of EVO has to say about P4U http://pastebin.com/SMrq3Wzp Wowie zowie this guy. Him and sundance both strike me as children in high places. Edit for clarification, I dont care what the dude thinks of P4U. Its not up to him what games get in. Whatever is bringing the money is getting into evo. -

I see no practical reason to change it up, but I really couldn't care less because I have a dual-mod. Also wait don't ps3s have input lag? I know at least street fighter has a bit on ps3. -

Just how many people do you remember? Did they go to tournies? I'm almost sure they didnt because blazblue has never had an amazing tournament scene in america. Tournies are the effective litmus test of how well a community is doing because it gauges how many people actually want to spend money driving somewhere to support their game. You're missing the big picture. Certainly there are tournaments in japan, and certainly there are people playing the game on youtube, but you have to ask yourself when awnsering my question "Just how many people play this game?" There were probably about 100,000 playing continuum shift in america, if the sales figures I found are to be believed. So seeing names you know on jourdal's videos should imply that there's roughly 20 people total, playing blazblue in japan at that arcade at that time. If we're going by just that measurement, then 1% is generous. And those are the people showing up in videos. Well I'm not going to sit here and list off every single problem I have with the game, so I'm going to give you one so you can extrapolate from there. For example, ground tech rolling, as it exists in blazblue, and has since CT, is way too powerful a tool for destroying a very basic component of fighting games: oki. It was a horrible design decision, and remains that way today. No longer do you have to patiently wake up, think, and react to a mixup every time you get up. The game as a whole is littered with simple, some even subtle design decisions that turn a lot of people off. Ask anyone in this thread and they can probably give you their favorite. You probably have one. Haw, absolutely none of them are even close to high level play, as far as I've been told. But you're missing the point. A site dedicated to blazblue's existence realizes that as a game, blazblue is not that superb. Most graciously, I would like you to know that there is a reason people stopped playing blazblue. I cant pretend to know other people's motives, but if it were me (and it is me because the last I played was CS2), I wouldnt play a game that hasn't solved the problems I quit for. It doesnt matter what the last time anyone played it was. All it added was characters and combos, and fixed nothing. -

It doesn't, but it does in the long run. If blazblue is anything to go by, there's a grand majority that will drop it as soon as an update is announced. Sure it did. Look literally anywhere and you'll see that at maximum 1% of the total blazblue fanbase can be seen playing in tournaments or on youtube videos. The minimum amount of people to hold what can be defined as a tournament is like 4 people. 2 brackets. 3 matches single elim, 4 matches double elim. We had 5 or 6 at MWC. Come on now. You'd get way more matches out of friendlies. The information, as I've been informed, has been explained to you over and over again. At least as I've been told. In my personal opinion, There's a reason blazblue doesn't get more than 30 people at majors. Even if I liked the game competitively, I could at least have the common sense to see that the majority of fighting game players agree that blazblue is bad. Even Blazblue.com could name 100 better games than blazblue. Thats sad. Hell I DO actually like blazblue for it bring anything other than a fighting game. Sorry about that. That commentary wasn't even good satirically. I've failed dry humor. -

http://shoryuken.com/2012/08/05/arc-system-works-announces-blazblue-chrono-phantasma-includes-three-new-characters-additional-outfits-updated-moves-and-more/ klein showed me this this morning. Things I noticed: -None of the new characters look dumb, character design wise, The first one, who I think may be a dude, turns ragna into a kid in the video. -Bullet looks cool. (punch shit hard) So does Azrael.(murderchoke, teledash, punch shit hard) -No Mu/Lambda -I hope they add new costumes for everyone not noel as well. I'm tired of seeing makto's tits hang out. -ALL of the stages shown in the trailer are bonerific, but I've always liked blazblue's aesthetics and not much else. -DANZAI -Tager bodyslam -Ragna has a legit bandit revolver scythe thing where he says jamenandayo -giant mech at end of video. blazblue logo in the middle. = Timing in blazblue's life points to this being blazblue's #RELOAD, but that is a really weak connection. Aut other than that, nothing else points to this changing anything about blazblue.
