  1. Every matchup in Extend can go either way. Shoutouts to well balanced games.
  2. But Morrigan is low tier yo :3 @Kid: That's what i'm saying dude on the last statement, but add an amazing set of normals to that list *fist bump*
  3. LEFT SIDE, MANY WHELPS. NOW, HANDLE IT! @Jordan: Get off my case I also play Bang in CT, Rachel in CS1 and Anji in GGXXAC. I use Asuka in SFxT. So yeah, get blown up scrub.
  4. Uh-huh, suuuuure Jordan.
  5. Ragna is boring as shit all the time though.
  6. 1. Try jumping against wolf Valk and not getting your shit pushed in by either w.5b or w.Ja, his mixups in wolf form are invisible and land him in the upwards of 2.5k for an instant over head with massive corner carry. His midscreen damage is well above average and wolf form regen rate and the fact that he has such a dumb mechanic is the main reason why he's pretty much considered the best at this point. 2. Human mixups aren't bad to block at all, it's just that can endlessly reset pressure with wolf and he has an incredible amount of plus frames on a lot of moves. He can transition into wolf from human during blockstrings for a really stupid 50/50 which go into 2.5k+ midscreen and more in the corner. His reward for hitting human mixups are far more rewarding than Ragna's. Try blocking the instant overhead on reaction when your getting pressured by Valk whilst looking for pretty much every other mixup under the sun, you can really only guess. The best part about it though, it's safe!!!!!! A lot of Ragna's shit isn't. Everything about Valk is scary minus his defence, he has one of the best anti-airs which is easy to combo off, some of the best set of normals in the game, retarded movement and mixups and some of the best damage in the game. 3. Ragna's damage output is nowhere near constant, like I said his only real big damage midscreen is off 6b/crouching confirm and 6c, truth be told you won't get hit by them too often seeing as 6b is very telegraphed. Compared to Valk's ridiculous 50/50s, Ragna's mixup is sub-par. Even with meter Valk does far more damage, both in the corner and midscreen. Go check the Ragna combo thread, you'll see his damage isn't that high at all without 50 meter, even then Valk does more. The reason we don't see more Valks is that he requires a good deal of effort to play, whereas Rags is instant results for little work. Seriously dude, go find a good Valkenhayn player (I mean properly good), play him and then try and say Rags is better. I've played both Kiba and Kid many times, both are very strong players, and Kiba's Valk scares me far more than Kid's Ragna simply because the old bastard is a better character plain and simple. I'm sure Keebz will agree with me here.
  7. True, but it's nice to force a burst so that they have less options later on. The main reason I stick to regular grab though is that it's so easy to get mashed out of. All in all both are effective and scary tools.
  8. Sure did! They were awesome haha, Shizuo and Izaya are comedy gold. <3 Crispin Freeman and Johnny Yong Bosch.
  9. Ragna only gets his big damage off of 6b/crouching confirm or 6c midscreen or if he has the meter to rapid cancel. Bang has better overall damage than him off of a light confirm and better corner carry. Heck his damage isn't even that high compared to someone like Valk. Bang's mixups are so much better, his movement is better, his 5b is just a hair short of being Ragna level, seriously, it's dumb. FRKZ is retarded in every sense of the word and Bang's air normals (J.b!!!!) destroy a lot of the cast for free. Ragna's offense ain't all that TBH, you can mash out of dead spike's start up and he as very few normals which are + on block or even jump cancellable to reset pressure. Heck you can guardpoint dead spike for free. Bang's offense is much tighter, harder to block and nails give him a really really good neutral game and shut down many of the casts options. I agree that Ragna may be better, but only very very slightly. Valk is the one you need to watch out for.
  10. I disagree, Bang/Ragna has always been even in every single game. Bang absolutely dominates match-ups that Ragna finds a lot harder. Bang now has tools for every situation now minus a bit of a shoddy defence. I do agree that Ragna is generally considered a 'better' character, but the difference is almost negligible in my opinion. Of course Bang has his own few bad matchups but they really aren't that bad at all, the hardest being Tao/Carl/Haz. Nothing can compare to some his CT or CS2 matchups though. He's just so. DAMN. SOLID.
  11. I do, add me you fool. Charles Mould. I'm the ginger bloke in the stylish hat as you know =w= Bang is so strong now it's just stupid, I love how he turned out in this version, it's so perfect. You put in the work and you get the results, but you really can't autopilot at all. Please don't change him too much next game Arcsys!
  12. What is happening UK peepz? Finally got around to watching Durarara after putting it off for a good few months, it sure was worth it. Also had some fresh ideas for some new midscreen command grab combos with Bang, imma try them tomorrow or something and post them up here if anyone's interested.
  13. I've heard it doesn't, it completely beats them. The difference between Yu's and Mitsuru's is that his has far far less blockstun so it's much easier to punish. But I agree that it should be removed completely, let them one more cancel if they have the meter though.
  14. It is without the meter to follow up. You get 3 seals and it works on all areas of the screen.
  15. Honestly I use regular grab a lot more than command grab here. Lower risk, higher reward and great conditioning. Once you get the Hakumen scared to stop throwing out counters you can get in there and start taking more risks.
  16. Kinda hope that they remove super cancelling DPs on block. It's kinda silly for some characters *coughmitsurucough* Oh and that they make Chie's counter at least somewhat punishable.
  17. 1. 6a to be sped up so that it's actually something to be feared 2. More Ignis meter or moves cost less so that you can actually do decent damage after a mixup and you can maintain pressure after a combo. 3. Buff the hitbox on 2c and possibly one or two other normals. (Possibly allowing for instant overhead J.c which can only be followed up by rapid cancel.) 4. (This one is a bit stupid) Maybe reduce the time Ignis is in slow regen or remove it, if Valk can have a mode that is so pivotal to his gameplay unhindered by such a draw-back, why must poor Relius? 5. Better startup on Lanto. Troll wish: Dark angel super from his unlimited form >=)
  18. The dynamic duo eh? Good choice, I was planning on using them too before Akihiko entered the fray.
  19. Jordan you magnificent bastard that picture is fucking amazing! Exactly what I had in mind when we were talking about it, minus the hairy legs and short skirt. 'Trip-Trip-Trip-Triple arrow!' 'Sorry, i'm married, can't blame you for wanting me though'
  20. Lolnope Takaya or bust. This game needs more hipster Jesus.
  21. The game is super balanced actually, Akihiko is pretty much the worst at the moment but he still wins a hell of a lot (I'm playing him and Yosuke regardless though, favourite persona characters). Mitsuru and Chie are in no way broken, they are just a step above the rest of the cast and it shows as 90% of matches are those two. A few small tweaks here and there and it'll be as balanced or even more balanced than Extend I would say as the rest of the cast are perfectly balanced.
  22. I am haha, I just hope it comes out before I go to Italy. Also there are rumours of a balance patch in May, let's go Akihiko buffs (and Chie/Mitsuru nerfs >=( )
  23. The wait for P4U is getting painful. WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A SOLID RELEASE DATE! ;(
