  1. Haven't played in a while (doubt I'll play BB again honestly) but I would think that getting steins on his back (6D) is still as good a strategy as ever.
  2. Its not that bad if you're used to playing on pads. The psp slim (2000) pad is waay better though.
  3. Ame no Habaya (mu's 236a) eats every non dd proyectile as far as I know. Exceptions being spark bolt and black void.
  4. T__T is it really too much to ask for an OP MU this time around?
  5. This is awesome! I wonder if they also scalled back the difficulty on the 6a->6b->6a->6b combos...
  6. Hey guys, long time no see. Quick question: Any gold burst combos for Mu?, will it be worth developing one come CS2 (what with all those changes to gold burst proration and stuff)?
  7. Mu can abuse something?? cs2 cant come soon enough!
  8. I took this out of the Video Thread, but I think this is the right place to ask about it. What exactly is....this?, I understand the concept behind it, but not how to actually do it. Any thoughts?
  9. I mostly agree with this. Only thing is: I think we're somewhat tied with valk, and (for what I understand of "normal" play) I believe lambda is better. Finally I would say that we're at least even with makoto. In all honesty, the link can be done 100% of the time, its a matter of when it can be done. Be mindfull of proration in the combo, know the number of reps in wichever loop you're doing before the oponent gets to tech out.
  10. Tks for all the data guys, that wiki looks mighty interesting!
  11. If you dont mind, I'm gonna try and steer the thread in this direction. I understand that MU is a deceptively difficult character to play properly and I'd really like to invest in her. That being said, what are your spacing techniques/tricks? how do you condition the opponent to respect you and keep their distance?
  12. Well, I'd still do it, at least you have the format. You'd just have to edit it to match CS2 data. But still, its your proyect, so you decide.
  13. Tks for all the replys! So most agree that fullscreen zoning seems to be the way to go. Thing is, I tried that and It didnt come out so well. Perhaps my stein formations were not up for the challenge, but it seemed to me that he can easily navigate trough the steins...guess its just that bad of a matchup. Anyways, for what I understand, one way to go would be to rush him down at the beggining of the match to try and get a life lead and then make a fullscreen retreat and bullet-hell him to kingdom come. I'll try that when I get home. Tks again guys!
  14. Sorry to reopen this, but...how do you exactly get in in this matchup? I though that fullscreen laser barrage worked (and tbh it did) until I fought either a good or smart hazama who used the chains to navigate trough all the stein setups and punish me. I saw the terrible defficiences MU has in this matchup on that single fight...it feels like nothing works if you're anywhere thats not fullscreen, and even then, he can outmanuever whatever you throw at him. Staying at chain range kills any special D options (236d / 214d / 214a, hell even full range 5c lost to a chain) since he seemed to be able to CH with chains on reaction. So I tried to rush him down...no good either, his basic attacks where better than mine. So I thought perhaps sitting down, blocking and waiting for an opening would work...wrong again, I realized I didnt know when to punish, and sat down blocking for almost 7 seconds until he did his command grab and kick special to painfull results I consider myself at begginer level and its clear that the guy was better than me, but from my loses I can usually see room from improvement (like, I could've done this, or that...). After this match I was stupefied and simply couldnt see any way around it. Thats pretty much it, any help / suggestions would be greattly appreciated!
  15. Hello gentlemen, I started playing a couple of months ago and picked up MU as main. First competitive FG I've got into, so bear with me if I say stupid things. Just wanted to introduce myself (starting a new thread just to say hi didnt look like a good idea). I'll probably be bothering people on the matchup forums with some questions. Anyways, nice to know you all and have a good one.
