Ottawa: Why have fundamentals when you have gimmicks?
Psykotik replied to Freezerburn's topic in International
So it looks like I'll be back in Ottawa again for another 4-month term thanks to co-op. See you all in January :P -
Montreal: Le Thread Generale Pour Weeaboo Fighters
Psykotik replied to BladeOfJustice7's topic in International
Now that I've finally woken up from dying after staying up to catch up on all of my school work, GGs to everyone I played in various games. Was nice seeing you all again. Shoutouts to Kingsley (I don't think he's even on this board?) for housing Wloo. We seriously can't thank you enough to being able to host us on such short notice and really appreciate what you've done for us. -

Seth kills her if he gets in but she zones him out pretty well otherwise. His neutral tools don't work well in the matchup; orbs get punished/destroyed easily by Hilda, 623A/B requires a hard read against her neutral pressure and he doesn't have anything like Linne's roll to get him past neutral threats. It's overall a pretty manageable matchup for her. -

The Hilda and Linne aren't going so you don't have to worry about those matchups. The Seth is going but he mains Chaos and both matchups are good for Hilda anyways. -

5C > 2C was already a gatling in CP1.1. It wasn't that useful tbh.

Saw a cool route in one of the recent vids: http://youtu.be/SraGgzveE1g?t=11m45s It looks like it should work in 1.1, anyone confirm if it does? I can't test anything right now.

Probably referring to the Kokonoe we saw during the loketests. IIRC, the pre-release tier lists were based on the loketests.
-
Loketest =/= revision. A loketest specifically refers to a public beta where feedback for a specific revision of the game can be collected and considered for further balance adjustments. There weren't any loketests other than that one that happened in the summer. If you meant to refer to a revision, then maybe? I don't know exactly how the cycle works but they definitely kept making balance adjustments following the loketests.

I highly doubt there were any other loketests. If there was actually a secret loketest, you'd hear a lot more people talking about it and see a lot more coverage, news like that spreads like wildfire.

[CP] Carl Clover Gameplay Discussion (Changelog in OP)
Psykotik replied to Akira-Shiro's topic in Carl Clover
http://p.twipple.jp/fBE4z This was off a throw w/75 meter and OD EDIT: oh look, more combos https://twitter.com/itoh_sae/status/520602342652010496 -
It's kind of hard to tell at this point. He got some very noticeable nerfs but also got some nice buffs in exchange (hello there 4D). CP 2.0 Carl will take some time to flesh out but I feel that he'll still end up being a very capable character. Btw, you can still jump cancel 5C on hit, it's the jump cancel on block that they took away.
-
^ This man is correct. One more change that I was just informed of: - j.2C is no longer special cancellable on block RIP Allecan
-
Oops, that should say 5C. Fixed.

Asked a friend to check these (shoutouts to @TENMA0105), 6A and 5B are indeed jump cancellable on block now.

Er, I should probably reword the OP. The final changes refer to changes from the loctest to the final version. It doesn't necessarily debunk the loctest changes.
