  1. Sadly, playing EC-WC is asking for a lot of lag, so I would personaly be against it. But perhaps OVerheat can play with you at some time, since he's also WC.
  2. Your life must be awesome. Edit: I was expecting to play people tonight, but I'm guessing it won't happen. I'll be on this thursday evening to get some of that mirror match action.
  3. Geez, where do you work at? I feel bad when I hit DL once or twice per day at work haha.
  4. Haha, I'll just have to remember about it. I'll go make a note right now =/ Is there any time that suits you better? I'm available between roughly 5:30 pm and midnight. And what are you doing posting on DL while at work? ;P
  5. Alright then, a room I shall make at this moment. @Achedsphinx: Apparently, I can't find you on PSN. Add me, if you wish. @Toan: I misread your post. Indeed I am not online mostly. I'll be playing//practicing a bit more for summerjam in the coming times though. Will any other EC players of you will be there?
  6. It goes all the way back to CS1 or very early CS2, where people in the chat room advised me to ask you what do when doing X. (IIRC it was WTF do I do on CH 2D, which at the time was answered by 236C - X). But yeah, if you wish to play, I can make a room for us 2 (maybe others who'd want to join as well?).
  7. We can netplay if you wish check some things out first hand, toanenadiz. I still have you in my friend list, also...
  8. Since most were gone when I talked about this at the meetup, I'll post it here. I'm inviting you guys over Saturday the 28th, we can have a BBQ, drink, walk around in a calm, dangerless neighbourhood, probably even get at downtown TR, which is right next to the fleuve st-laurent for a nice breeze, etc. Manifestez votre intérêt, groupe!
  9. Overheat isn't a very visible player, unfortunately. You can always check out his YT channel for casual matches he uploads, but he, much to my sadness, seldomly does so. As far as I'm concerned, you can check out MTL's non-official stream page at www.twitch.tv/bibiquadium Because I don't live exactly next to Montreal, I can only go once per 1-2-3 weeks, so I'm not always in the streams. I can say, though, that you can watch a few matches of me in the last 2 ranbats.
  10. Actually, we will be playing offline in a few weeks. I'll probably ask the MTL guys for a spot on stream for a FT5 or something with Overheat. It's gonna be godlike : D I'll share a link here whenever that happens. Edit: Now that I think of it, I'm actually pretty curious to know if anyone has seen any recent videos of Overheat and myself play.
  11. Overheat is really a great player, for those who weren't aware of it yet. IMO, he'd be in the top 2 as far as north american Lambdas go. Though I'd need to see more of him offline (gonna rectify this soon <3), as well as for Severin, which would be the other logical pick.
  12. Please tell me I can use pad for the BB tournament (I promise I won't turn off my controller during other players' matches).
  13. It seems I was able to extend a combo I posted before, here it is: midscreen CH AA 6A - 236D - dash - 236C - dashing 6C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 5C (8) - 6C - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4953 with 63 heat
  14. Thank you so much for the good time yesterday everyone! I promise my mindset will be more appropriate in the near future, then I can be on top of my game again. Shoutouts to Kirbster. I can't ever seem to best you, I will need much more training with you for summerjam! Shoutouts to Brice for awesome (and less awesome) matches. Hype ranbat beginning was hype. Shoutouts to Bibi for dat peer pressure. It was worth it : D Shoutouts to Pedro for fraudulent matches. Next time, let's get really warmed up before we play so you can best me! Big shoutout to Kaeru. Thank you so much for being there for me. It was greatly appreciated. Next time though, we shall press buttons together! Last shoutout goes to sleep. You shall be missed. Also this. Brice is probably rank 5.
  15. That's how far in his mouth I'll be when I explose his face on stream.
  16. A frounded opponent getting hit by 2B will automatically send him in the air, thus allowing for 2C - air combo. Give it a try in training mode. Edit: Ninja'd because I don't refresh mah pages after reading.
  17. I hate you. I'll be there because I'm feeling peer pressure. Edit: I should be there between 7 and 7:30 unless soemthing goes terribly wrong. Please don't DQ me T.T
  18. I miss you guys. I wanna hang out with you more when we meet.
  19. Oh god va faloir que j'aille de la monnaie américaine pour ce trip... O_o
  20. That's why it's important to vary your mixups//crossups. You can probably do fake cross under 2B after air throw and still get them. Personnaly, I like to cross under 2B - 2C against DP-less characters.
  21. Actually, Overheat has found something better already: 214A FC - 236C - delayed 4B (both) - 2149D - 5C (1) - 6C - 236D - 214D-C - 214D - 6C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - Air Super Ender 7272 with 22 heat (-50) Getting the spacing for the last 6C - 214D is the hardest part IMO. Edit: Might as well do the part I said I'd do for the thread right now... Midscreen: 6A CH Anti air - 236D - dash - 236C - dahsing 6C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4879 with 55 heat 5B Anti air - j.B - dj.B - dj.C - j.214D 1649 with 12 heat (start of round) 5C (1) CH - 236C - dashing 214C - dashing 6A - 2147D - dashing 6A - 6C - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4917 with 51 heat (note: There are probably more optimal combos in this situation, but I found this one to be the more pratical and damaging) (start of round) 3C CH - 236D - dash - 236C - dashing 6C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4045 with 54 heat 5D CH - 236C - dashing 5C (8) - 214A - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 5DD - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4304 with 47 heat 5DD Anti Air - 4DD - 236C - dashing 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 3075 with 29 heat (note: this combo is to use when the opponent is badly spaced for a 5DD - 236C. The 4DD will allow the 236C to land.) 236D-C - 214D - 236C - dashing 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 3573 with 35 heat Throw - 2DD - 4B(#2) - 2DD - j.DD - j.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - dj.214D 2496 with 28 heat Air throw - RC - 236C - dashing 5C (8) - 214A - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 5DD - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4775 with 45 heat Near corner: Throw - dashing 2DD - 6C - 236C - dashing 5C(1) - 6C - 236D - 214D-C - 236C - dashing 3C 2924 damage with 42 heat Corner: 6A Anti Air CH - 2147D - 5C (2) - 6C - 236D - 214D-C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 4629 with 59 heat 2147D - RC - dashing 5C (8) - 214A - 236C - dashing 5C (1) - 6C - 236D - 214D-C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 5398 with 58 heat 2147D FC - RC - dashing 5C (8) - 214A - 236C - dashing 5C (1) - 6C - 236D - 214D-C - 214D - 6C - 214D - 4B (#2) - 2DD - 2147D - 6DD - 2DD - hj.DD - hj.2DD - dj.DD - dj.2DD - j.214D 5405 with 68 heat
  22. Is Bloodwolf the guy that got beat by stayfree? I can't remember the names of the players =/
  23. Yesterday was AWESOME!!! GGs to everyone. It was nice (finally) meeting you, Sophisticat. Next time I'll have to take your win away ;P Thank you so much for coming Blade!!! I love playing and just hanging out with you.
