I'm glad Random select picked her for me. I get bodied almost every game, but I think it is going to worth it in the end. Plays on my Tryhard BB Account Makoto - 907 Hazama - 772 Mu-12 - 132 I have a long way to go...I've learned the Misery Random steins can inflict. I've learned some subtle corner Carries. And how to blow Steins to punish any directional tech roll. All is well.

Starting to get used to her now. Compared to Haku, Mako and Fedora. Mu's learning curve is steep for me. Still the most fun ive had on BB though.

My Octagonal has been Okay so far. Although im finding myself screwing up 4's and 6's a hell of a lot. Quarter Circle motions are a breeze now. I try not to ride the gate, but sometimes It just happens. DP's are a bit harder, I'll admit. I'll give it a few more days, both gates have Pro's and Con's. Also, Changed my buttons to LED's. Changed them back 1 day later. Feels horrible. Sanwa4lyf

Noob Q: Say, for Example, My opponent whiffs, or I IB something like Inferno Divaidah. I use SoD charged as a punish. Is this a good punish? I know I could go into a combo, but im not sure if its the same with Mu, I dont really see her as useful close range as she is mid range...If that makes sense? Because using SoD as a punish gives me time to build a Stein House.

Has anyone made a list of Optimal/Go-To combos for Mu? It's always a help when I have something to mold around a playstyle. Which, is mostly run away, force block, blockstring, SoD>xxx, Run away, Repeat.

Becomes muscle memory if you make an effort with it for a day or so. Same with the IAD. Also, I've just changed my TE to Octagonal, so I'll let you know what it's like? I played Mu for Giggles today, Touched her once in CS1 and put her down without thinking. But today, I almost fell in love with her. I've seen Mu gameplay and was like "Awh hell naw" But damn, I love her now. Like, almost in a freakish Waifu kind of way. Love Mindgames, I love setting "Traps" Placing Steins intricately to fit a strategy, overwhelming opponents, turning Steins into "Airmines" She is such a rare sight online, people have no clue what to do. I played around 70 Matches with her today and loved each one. Even when a got bodied by entry level Ragna's and Noels trying to learn moves, I loved it. I'm going to sit down and learn some Combos with her tomorrow, mainly for 2B which seemed to hit a ton. Finally, I've found a character I enjoy playing for fun. And not for winning...Maybe both? Hazama. Easier with Square gate or Octagonal gate? I've got my TE cracked open here with 2 gates. And I dont know which is better....

Okay, I have a TE Round 1. I know the basics of how to change buttons + Gate. But say I want to change the Faceplate, where would the best place be to get a design sent to?

Challenge Modo will give you the basics of what you need to learn. Makoto's best combos are usually combos to the users preference. If you watch some Goro/Saotshi gameplay, you can usually steal them.

That was just me. Even after 2000 games I burn hours in Training mode. +1 For Tutorial, If you can deal with Rachels Voice, anyway.

Scrub Hakumens will just j.2C > 3C you all the f*cking time. So, I dont really have an answer for it 24/7 other than "Move ASAP" I can DP it sometimes...But... lrn2parry?

You dont need to rely on a Hitconfirm with Jin as much. You just want to apply as much pressure as you can. Remember you have projectiles. Force his block. Bait DP's if he has them and punish accordingly. And make sure you dont neglect 5C/5D

Learn the matchup, first. Understand what you can and can't do to get in on your opponent. Since Ragna is arguably the most commonly used player online, You should read up on his basics. For example, Jin has projectiles. Ragna doesn't have a single one. He can't do shit long range. So you know you have an advantage at long range. Roughly even's at mid range, and you are kinda' outgunned close range. Since Ragna's main aim is to connect something like a 5B, you can expect a ton of Rushdown play from them. And if they go in stupid, you have a plethora of Punishes. Namely your DP (623C?) Which laughs at 5B if timed correctly (Im 99% sure, anyway) Also, Use the swords a ton if you plan on running at him. This forces him to block, and since Jin's Mixup isn't really that great, you could either Crossup, and just be a douche and throw him into a corner, where again you could j.2C him after a simple Mixup and do what combo's you've got. +To Effectively combo with Jin, you do need heat. Because his only standing overhead is 5A, you need to RC it for it to be effective in the slightest. Also, If you need to corner combo. Try landing 5C > 6C > Whateverthehellcomesnext combo. Put them in the corner more or less, and hopefully, character dependant, open to mixup/crossup. I don't play Ragna or Jin, so this is just stuff I've picked up through time.

More or less. Or try 214B-D or 3C? Not had much Exp with Tsubaki so im not even sure what her 5B is. Or 214A-B?...

I just give up trying to 2C Fatal Ragna & Hakumen. Get 5B'd and 4C'd all day. Anyway, I dont think I use 2C at all unless it's part of a j.D corner combo.
