  1. Yea, MvC2 vets look down on MvC3 as scrubby and or more difficult to play. I agree that it's MvC2 is harder but both games have their cheesy aspects. Like doing 3x Cable hyper beam is hard... Anyways, wasn't there big release party in Chicago last month. I check Chicago events I didn't see anything on it or is that not a good site look for gaming related events.
  2. No, MvC is definitely pretty ridiculous with the X-Factor system. MvC2 is more competitive.
  3. I'm thinking about doing a documentary on the midwest scene by getting footage at majors. Are there any good web production companies to work with? I'm checking out this video production company . Any others? I don't have the technical skills to do it myself.
  4. Think of MK vs DC and how that worked out then prepare to get hype for MK9. Hopefully, it's balanced and has some lasting power. People hardly played MK vs DC a year after it's release and it was never tournament worthy.
  5. AE is cool but it doesn't have enough additional content that gets me hype for the release. Speaking of EVO is just watched King of Kong and it inspired me to do a documentary about the fighting game scene. I don't have much experience with marketing and design though so I'm checking out companies online that specialize in that area. I check out this company, tracecommunications.com but I want to compare with some others first. Any advice?
  6. I've very glad they swapped out Gief for Haggar. Throw characters are generally bad in vs. games yet Haggar seems to be pretty good so far. I heard there be a setup for UMvC3 at Focus Fire. All I know is it's in Chicago but when I checked this Chicago events site I didn't see it posted. Where can I find more details on Focus Fire. It's a major gaming tourney, right?
