only sol can do clean hits, and only on sidewinder , fafnir, and the last hit of grand viper, IIRC. i couldn't find anything about yomi. i'd appreciate an explanation.

yeah, props go to poscrub. i love this matchup. both my mains. mappa and 6H fail as means to get in. traps rape you pretty easily. add lots of jumps into your pressure. EXE is guaranteed after the first frame. do sumthin like c.S->late jump cancel to bait it out. look out for the FRC though. if he does FRC a double jump usually puts you out of harm's way. *slight parlor trick*: jump cancel straight up and airdash so you switch sides naturally, then quickly do j2K to crossup again. it's worked a few times for me. you could also try and do something like 6K wait BDC bite. hella annoying. that DOT thing couldn't be stressed more. buffer it everytime. block with a 63214 motion so you just do 6S to DOT. this matchup's a huge test of patience. you turtle, you lose. you charge in recklessly, you still lose. kind of why i sometimes let testament knock me down at first since i find it easier to have him mix up since he's in my face rather than have him set traps and force me to come to him with a goddamned barney right on my heels.

are GDloops even worth it nowadays? okay, never mind. i still love em. [corner]GD, cS->5H->GD, cS 5H badlands, 5H->GD, net for oki or H EXE FRC to continue. huge waste of tension, these GDloops. but you just gotta love em.

we got mac and cheese, we got PBloops, we got 2hit DHDs, and now i'm starting to love bat-cloud combos. combos with a lot of 2H. hard to time, varies for each character and truly badass. like: [corner]CH direct it's late/DOT FRC/whatever, 5H->FB PB, 2H, BBU CH 2H, 2H, BBU up close 2H, 5P/c.S->jK->j2K, late jK, 5H->FB PB, 2H, DOT FRC/BBU/what have you. BBU, 2H, BBU meh. there really isn't much to list. anytime they're going to fall to the ground, 2H them right back up. never mind the prorate, they'll still kill you anyway. and timing's hard.

eh. haven't tried it on everyone. something fun though: zappa = mappa. he's like the ultimate mappa dummy. instead of going for land HS xx PB in aircombos do land HS xx mappa (5K xx mappa) 5P JC D. fun. want me to put up which of the cast are hit by HS xx mappa off 2D RC? gimme a bit. i'll have it up probably tomorrow. can't touch the ps2 for now. edit: fails against ax, di, so and fa (strangely). it works against everyone, but some of them are so iffy that you're better off doing something else. oh well.

i feel there should also be some explanation on 1 frame jumps and yomi. gets cited pretty often. great job though, this'll be a big help for newcomers.

you could refer to the framedata, if you want. here. http://dustloop.com/data/ac/testament.html anyway, when you hit with MOP, you get some voodoo dolls. 2 for the first hit, and 1 for the second hit. you can only have up to 4 dolls. you use up a doll when you plant a tree or a net. trees start up faster and poison the enemy. they also don't disappear if you get hit after planting one. but if you get while planting the tree it still won't get set up. zeinest traps longer, so...yeah. it can still be set off by traps though, so use it when you're sure it'll hit.

off 2D RC near the corner i prefer H xx mappa (if you can squeeze it in, another 5K xx mappa) 5P JC. great damage especially if you can get two mappas in.

you don't have to put in the 8. just 2147p will do. and it'll be easier if you buffer the motion while recovering from the previous badlands so that you just have to press 7p to get it out.

maybe add in something about the traps? though i guess rabitecake's posts in the other thread explains enough. here's a question: how exactly should i use FB GD? i still look at the move with contempt. : ( and i never, ever use dust (5D). how bad a thing is this?
